John and his wife are some of the friendliest and warmest people you will meet. While the store and its offering are outstanding on their own, its the ownership which will make this a mainstay in downtown Portland for years to come. I look forward to morning/afternoon chats with John. What a great place. Once when I remarked that I would buy something that they didnt carry, the very next day they had it in stock, and at a better price than anyplace else in the neighborhood. Need I say more?

Its a good little corner store. I live right down the street and its a great little place to grab a pack of beer after all the grocery stores have closed. The workers a really friendly too.
