Lost Rocket

My friend and I are visiting from Northern California and we went to Lady Luck today for our first tattoos, the first thing you need to know is that the customer service here is dynamite. There were only three people there: Smivee, Ryan and another gentlemen--whos name I did not catch so I will call him Deadpool-- they were friendly and jocular as soon as we walked in the door, I would totally be friends with all these guys. Deadpool was incredibly helpful both over the phone and in person, he answered all our questions and helped us fill out our paperwork quickly. Smivee did my tattoo, he was quick and clean and its exactly what I wanted. Also, Im not sure if he did anything to mitigate the discomfort, but I was pleasantly surprised at how painless it was. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, and I will definitely consider making the trip to Portland again when I decide to get another tattoo.

I wanted to get an 11 year old tattoo fixed that was completely messed up. When I arrived at Lady Luck tattoos it was 7:30pm they were able to fit me in even stayed late to finish my tattoo. I suffer from anxiety and paranoia and this shop made me feel safe and comfortable. I was treated so great that my tattoo took 2 and 1/2 hours but I didnt even realize the time because of the amazing conversation and the great treatment. This is a great place to get tattoos. They are professional and treated me as if they knew me for years. Their artwork is absolutely stunning. I use to hide my messed up tattoo and I felt self conscious about it but now it looks so amazing that I want to show it off all the time. I will definitely be returning to lady luck tattoos.

Went in to get a quote. Guy in the shop was awesome, and suggested the best artist for what I wanted would have been Janine, and told me to come back on friday at noon (when the shop opens) to see what she says. I showed up at noon, shop was locked and closed. Waited till 1215 and then called to see where someone was. Message on the machine told me to not bother leaving a message because they arent an answering machine. Total rudeness on the voicemail as you obviously cant uphold your shop hours, and if you cant honor your hours then dont have them. Wont bother wasting my time, which is a shame since I really liked her art. But to me it shows unprofessionalism and not respectful of clients time.

After my wife died, I had a memorial tattoo done by a novice artist down in LA. New at the job, his work was less than poor. Faded, blotchy, and unfinished, I did a lot of research before settling on Portlands Lady Luck Tattoo in hope they could repair my very special tattoo and finally give it its finishing touches. Jason took over and kicked major tattoo butt. Not only did he manage to repair the tattoo (thank you), the finishing touches were amazing. As my wife looks down, I am sure she is as proud as I am. Thank you, Jason, and thank you, Lady Luck. Your quality preceeds you. If you want the job done right the first time, and when other parlors dont follow through - Lady Luck Tattoo.

This place is epic! Mad Marcii is top notch and incredibly professional (and a damn good time - which is important to me). It started with my initial phone call when I was doing my research for an artist, and even her phone etiquette was warm and welcoming. I went to her for a large upper arm tattoo and just completed my 4th and final session this past week. Her artistry blew me away. SHE blows me away! Ill never go anywhere else. I should also mention the vibe of the shop...it was killer! The other artists were friendly, entertaining, and actually collaborative with one another. Talk about a team. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. Cheers to Lady Luck!

I got my tattoo in 09. My very first tattoo, I wanted on the back of my neck. I had called 4 or 5 other tattoo parlors and they wouldnt even consider it since it was my first one. I called Lady Luck and talked with Adam, he was very helpful. Ended up getting my tattoo done by Miss Brynn. Was very pleased with the service and the work. Ended up going back again for my second tattoo, again with Miss Brynn. This time my mom got one as well. Thinking of getting a third one here in the near future. Very please with the friendly environment and professionalism. Would recommend Lady Luck to anyone wanting a tattoo, especially the first timers.

I went in to Lady Luck today for my very first tattoo. I felt comfortable the minute I walked into the shop. Isaac greeted me when I walked up to the counter and he was extremely nice. I was expecting to go in and have to schedule a time to have my tattoos but he said he could do it right then. Isaac did my tattoos, he was awesome. I watched him prepare his station for me and he was extremely sanitary about everything. I really enjoyed my first experience of getting a tattoo and I will definitely recommend Isaac and this shop to anyone that I know that wants a tattoo !!!!!!! Thank You Isaac !

My friend liz and I did their "peek-a-boo" special where you draw number that coordinate with small tattoos on flash boards. We had so much fun there! Everyone was super friendly. We talked about our silly little tattoos. They gave us little lollipops to help "ease" the pain. Super talkative, one of THE best tattoo shops I have ever been in. It was the most relaxed I have ever felt. To top it off, their after care which I always read (even though i have 8 tattoos) was awesome. They explained so much more into detail then any other shop I have seen. Totally awesome. We will definitely go back.

I have been to Lady Luck for 5 tattoos and each experience was awesome. I have had some text done on both forearms, a windmill, two neck tattoos and another larger windmill piece currently in progress. My 3 most recent additions were done by Jason, who is a flat out cool dude. Very easy going and wont waste my time. Also did some sketches for me without an appointment, which was great. Overall the work is my favorite thus far and I plan on making Lady Luck my go to for new ink and touch ups. Give Jason or anyone there a call. Great people and solid color/line work all around. Good music too.

I went to Lady Luck Tattoo last month (January, 2017) and got a small script tattoo done by Ryan. I usually go to a tattoo shop in Seattle, but I was visiting Portland and decided to give this shop a try after doing some research. This is the perfect shop to go to if youre looking for any or all of the following: clean friendly spacious unique mixture of men/women artists reasonably priced excellent skill Everyone in the shop is friendly and attentive and cares about you and their work which is the recipe for an excellent tattoo. Very pleased and will absolutely return.

I went in with my girlfriend to get an eyebrow piercing and she got a monroe piercing. Adam, their piercer, did a perfect job with both of our piercings. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, patient and accommodating. We stop by periodically to have our piercings checked out to make sure theyre healing okay and they have been. Adam is always very welcoming and amiable. Its been a great experience and Im glad we chose Lady Luck Tattoo. I recommend anyone looking to get a piercing to go here. Oh, and the prices are as low as I could find, too. Total win.
