Perfect store for all of your outdoor needs. Im from Florida so I am not aware of where to buy hiking gear on this side of the country (and even kind of ignorant to hiking necessities). I try to support local shops back home, so I am glad to have stumbled upon this great local outdoors store. I was looking for a daypack hiking backpack and the owner was very helpful in finding me the right one. Straightforward, no gimmicks. She couldve sold me one double the price, but was honest in saying it probably wasnt what I needed. I highly recommend shopping here. Oh, and he sure to say hi to the store pup!

I had bought a sleeping pad that ended up to be defective. When I brought it in to exchange he wouldnt expect a 300$ transaction I had on a bank statement, for I was on my way to get on the trail and didnt want to go without a pad they got on the phone with the company. After waiting for 45 min he said he can exchange it. When I went to purchase other gear from him he then told me it would be a 50$ shipping charge. Stuck wanting to just get on the trail I payed it. What a sad place Im always for the small business but I wont be going back.

These guys are super helpful, very knowledgeable, professional, and have a great selection. Ive never had a problem with exchanges or returns (esp. as Im someone who keeps my receipts for big purchases so as to help things go smooth in such an event), and theyve even helped me repair worn or damaged equipment, which is above and beyond for any retail store, IMHO. Id definitely recommend checking the place out.

Purchased camping and hiking gear and am impressed. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about products. The store is huge and organized. I was looking for keens and the associate sold me kid ones that were $20 cheaper. I was so excited to save money. The products they offer are of high quality.

Not only does this store have friendly, knowledgeable staff and great customerservice, they now offer a quaint, comfy spot to sip some brew or kambucha (they even have cider on tap, yay!) and listen to live tunes. Love the store and the vibe.

Locally owned and operated, great place to buy affordable walking sticks. Very nice and knowledgeable, ie walk on amd say "I want to climb a local mountain" and they will set you up with directions, know how, and geAR if you need it!
