So I feel like i fall into that category of people who say "I dont ever write reviews, but I am so satisfied I have to!" type category. Well its true. I bought a product today 05/08/2013 from Sports LTD in Redding, CA and I am super happy with it. I bought a pair of Vibrams Five Finger shoes and I feel like I just experienced a new level of life. I am not going to do a product review because its not their product, but instead my experience buying the product. Before I walked into Sports LTD i did some research on the product and went in there expecting myself hunting around and trying on multiple pairs of Five Fingers on my own and "winging it". When I got in there I was greeted and I did my typical, "I am fine, just looking around" type response. When I got to the shoe area and more specifically the Vibram Five Finger shoe area I was blown away by the selection. Then an employee asked if I had ever had a pair before, and I said no. They sent what I would call a specialist to come help me. His name was Josh. He sat me down, got my Virbrams shoe size, and talked about the different verity to choose from. He explained the pros and cons of each type and then he brought down 4 or 5 different styles for me to try on. He brought out different walking surfaces for me to walk over so I feel the difference in styles. I was completely blown away, I asked some "hardcore researched type questions" and he had the answers. I felt like the guy worked for Vibram himself. Anyways, super satisfied with the product and super satisfied with the service of Sports LTD and just in-case anyone is wondering, I dont work there or have any friends that works there. I am just a normal guy who was very impressed with the service and the product! Also Ill mention price real quick, I think I have only been to Sports LTD. a couple of times in my life because I figured they were a smaller non-box type retailer that couldnt compete with prices. I dont know about there other products, but the Vibrams Five Finger were very competitive and I felt like a i got a solid deal, I will definitely be going back again.

Doesnt get any better than this. My girlfriend and I were on a bike tour when she had a blowout as we were passing through Burney. None of the stores in Burney had a 700c tire, so we were dead in the water. We searched around online and found Redding Sports Ltd, so gave them a call. Not only did they have the correct tire for us, but for no extra charge they put it on a shuttle bus headed in our direction (about 60 miles away). When it arrived and we opened the box, we were shocked to discover that, in addition to the tire, they had thrown in a bunch of free stuff along with a very nice note wishing us well. To say we were impressed would be a massive understatement. Their random act of kindness really made our day, and now I plug these guys every chance I get. THANKS REDDING SPORTS LTD!!!!

I am travelling America heading to vancouver and stop in this shop was really Amazing...I guy called david (upstairs ) took the time to show me how to operate the tend even I didnt buy it here......he helped me a lot even knowing I wasnt need anything ( how to pack my back pack , set up tend and many things ) ....this made Ended buying all the stuff I really need and encourage me to think what more I could buy and of course I did and he never offer me things I dont need......I dont know this people at all ....I am from madrid is my first time in America ,stop by this shop and the help of david was amazing amazing amazing..... Its very good to find people like him..thats why I decided to buy all the stuff I really need for now and further .....

Living in the Lassen National Forest, my wife and I do a good bit of shopping here. While all departments of the store are well stocked and feature knowledgeable staff, the bike shop is really exceptional. Needing to update and tweak my relatively high-end but aged mountain bike, I had taken it to a local bike specialty shop where I was basically told that I had to simply buy a brand new bike. When I then brought the bike in to Joe at Redding Sports LTD, he knew exactly what was needed, he provided parts at very reasonable prices and his labor charge was literally half what I expected to pay. Honest, extremely knowledgeable, and very professional and courteous, he was a pleasure to work with.

I think I have purchased something from every department at this point. Bikes, skis, clothes etc. What really stands out is the excellent customer service. The ski shop guys stayed late to make sure our stuff was ready to go the same day we bought it so we could use it all the next day. Nowhere else in Redding will you find a sports store that has this level of customer service and attention to detail. Ive been a customer here for 15 years and have no plans to stop. I would highly recommend Sports LTD.

I went to this store hoping to get some UGGs this was the only store in Redding, CA to have them. Since its not quite Fall yet and they were not out on display not only did they have someone take me to where they were stored the guy helping me and my 3 year old fine the perfect pair he was so kind. The bonus to all this was I got $50 off these boots. They were discounted. I will Definitely be shopping there again. Very nice staff and kid friendly which is a HUGE bonus for me!

We purchased a new bike over a year ago and upgraded another with new shifters and tires. Great value and knew what worked best for us. Went back in for the complimentary new bike adjust and Joe worked on the while I waited (not normal but he went the extra mile). Joe the bike tech is awesome! Knows his stuff about bikes. Took care of a warranty issue no questions asked. These guys rock!. Oh and the people in front of me were also treated with great service!

Went in there to buy bindings and boots for my board. Lady at the counter led me to a sales associate who was talking with a customer. The convo went on for way too long as they covered everything about snowboard equipment. As I looked around I noticed about 12 people waiting on the same guy I was waiting on. I left as customers were getting impatient and muscling there way to the front of the crowed. They need more people working

Not very good at estimating work. I live an hour away, I had dropped a chain into the spokes, they told me my bike would be done tomorrow, I called at 3 before I drove down, they said just starting on it should be done In 2 hrs, I show up at 5, they said more spoke damage that they thought, should be done at 7 just before the close. I hang around 2 more hours. At 7 bike is still not done, bike mechanic went home at 6.
