This is a great place! We stopped in to learn about fishing for surf perch. They provided ready information and advice. Jim was extremely helpful since I was using a borrowed rod and had some difficulties using it. After some good natured ribbing I was soon back in action. He teased my young daughter and had a lively banter going. This is an honest business. I selected some fishing line that was about three times as expensive as I needed. Jim readily said I didnt need it and got fixed up in no time. Integrity is definitely a theme at this business. We are from the Salem area so all of you traveling through can feel confident dealing with this business and get good, honest and professional service!!!

Great info, nice shop owners, and they carry just about everything you need. A little pricey, especially the clothes, but I know they dont make the prices of a lot of those items. Overall, a very honest atmosphere and great service. If youre a local, theyll remember your name.

Stopped by on a road trip from NC. These guys told me exactly where to go to catch fish and sold me a few spinners to do the trick. Landed a nice 17" Chinook and had a great day also used the spinner to land 3 giant steelhead the next day in norcal. Great local place!
