I cant say enough good things about this tattoo shop, but Ill sure try. Ive been getting tattooed by Ryan, the owner, for about a year, and have since been tattooed by him for about 20 hours in total. I was kind of dissapointed when he moved out to Forest Grove from the Portland area due to the driving distance, but after several visits to Tattoo Asylum, I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. For one, the atmosphere of the shop is great. Non-judgmental, open, and fun. Yeah, I said fun. SO many shops in the Portland area have kind of a "holier than thou-i dont even want to do this tattoo for YOU" kind of feel. Not here. Expect Ryan and Bertrand to listen to want you want, work with you stylistically, and ALWAYS be open to feedback. These guys want to make sure you are happy with your work by the time you have left. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Lots of places overcharge or haggle, whereas these guys will give you a fair quote from the beginning. And considering the level of workmanship you will receive, its actually a bargain. If you don;t believe me, then check it out for yourself. If I had more thumbs, Id put em all up. Tattoo Asylum is where its at.

Best tattoo work i have ever gotten & i have a boat load of tattoos all over my body but the head area,lol.A great comfortable,nice place with great artists,that are very Amazing at what they do.Ryan Burke is my choice of talent to ink me up from the first time he tattooed me with what i really wanted,to more & more & i wont stop until my dyeing day,Or run out of spots.My Artist,thanx Ryan.

I just got ink by Ryan on Saturday and I have to say I have never been more comfortable in letting someone have control. I gave him my basic idea and he ran with it. The results are a wicked awesome blue watercolor style feather that everyone who sees it loves. Even my mom who hates tattoos and makes fun of me for having them thinks this one is beautiful. THANKS RYAN! I will be back!

Awesome shop with great atmosphere and phenomenal artists that do beautiful work. Angela has great technique so my tattoo healed very and pain was very minimal. The colors she picked were spot on with the original, and I am proud to wear my new art. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for any style of ink, there really isnt anything these guys can not do!
