chris22090- If you havent had a personal experience at a very well experienced tattoo shop like tattoo 42, you have no right saying this page is not useful for reviews on tattoos. I have had 4 tattoos done at tattoo42 by the owner himself, and I wouldnt get ink from anyone else or anywhere else. Tattoo42 is a friendly environment and is willing to try and work with any idea a customer comes in with. Needless to say Tattoo42 is a great shop with employees and artists that have the best training and can do amazing work. Stop being a downer on review pages because you personally dont agree with tattoos, its not your body so let people do what they want its not hurting you, so why should you care?!?

Chris22090 - you are lame. Obviously you dont like tattoos. You think they are morally wrong or whatever... which isnt so bad in of itself since you are free to believe what you want. But when you start nay-saying a hard-working company like tattoo42 who offer a service to WILLING customers and have nothing to say about the company and artists, well it kind of irks me. If your comment and rating was about an actual experience, quality of the artists, or just general interaction with the company then I could let it pass... but youre penalizing hard-working artists by down-rating their company! You suck and I am going to give them five stars to cancel out your weak sauce.

I have to say I was a bit nervous going in to get a quote on a very personal tattoo but as soon as I got in I knew I was in good hands I asked to make a appointment and I was told no need to since it was small and he told me he could sit me down right then he joked around made sure I was comfortable and the price blew me away it was less then half of what I planed on spending and super quick he helped size it and made sure everything was how I wanted it Im so happy I chose these guys to do my ink work and plus I took my 4 kids with me and the lady even offered them a sucker and was so kind to them I would rate higher is I could

Most shops have employees that are cocky and arrogant...Not these guys! They are awesome people to be around. Super clean shop, friendly artists, family friendly, awesome pricing and just GREAT PEOPLE!!!! They work with the picture in your head and let you know how its gonna come out. They take the time to make your canvas look superb! My wife and I got matching wedding bands done by Douglas and then my wife went in with her idea of a flower and our kids names and he did awesome work! I will be telling EVERYONE we know where to go! We will be back!

I went in with a picture to give the guy an idea of what i wanted. He drew up a design that i liked. I let him know that i was tight on the budget and asked how much it would be. He quoted me $400-$600, i let him know that was a high price for this simple 2 color half sleeve tribal but i would do it. After 2 sessions, 4 hours and $500 later. Im half done when he informs me it would take about 4 more hours and ~$400 more to finish! Are you kidding me!? Dude stop talking so much when you tat or reduce your hourly charge! What a rip off!

I had a tattoo done here in 5/7 by Zack, and he did an amazing job! He is very friendly, and makes sure that the work looks its absolute best before sending you out the door. I went to him with a concept photo, asked to add on a stag, and told him to have fun with the colors. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I 100% recommend his work to everyone who asks about it, and I get complimented a ton!

The owner is rude. I went in with a simple idea, he sketched it in like 2 mins. I asked if I could do a different type of font, he was extremely rude. When answering his consent form, I asked a question about the blood disorders. And Once again he was extremely rude. I wont go into detail, I know for sure I will not recommend that place to anyone. I went instead to Adorn body in Beaverton instead.

this place is great. they have great prices and its a great vibe. A lot of the times I feel like tattoo artists are such jerks and are so full of themselves. I have met all of the artists at this shop and they are great, especially doug. He gave me an amazing price for a beautiful piece and was incredibly detail oriented and actually treated me with respect. I will only go to him from now on :)

Doug over at tattoo 42 has done 3 pieces on me, and if I have it my way, will do the rest of my body. I love the staff and the environment in the shop. Doug is an awesome, super patient artist and his skill is incredible. Every time I go in to the shop I am amazed by the new pieces I have seen that come out of there. I recommend the shop to all my friends, and you should check it out too. :)

I got a tattoo today from John...best experience Ive ever had with an artist. He was so cool and really took his time on my piece. Very clean, laid back atmosphere, great conversation, and I am totally satisfied with the result. I will be going here from now on. Great prices...truly, truly talented artist. I brought in my idea, and he made it unimaginably better. Thanks, guys.

Prices are good and I truly think they are all talented artists. Rich helped me find something I would like to cover up a scar. But when I got my tattoo the colors were wrong and when I told the artist that he kinda threw a fit and still didnt fix it to my liking. I wanted to leave at that point because he seemed pissed. I will have to get the whole tattoo redone.

John is an amazing artist! They take extra care in keeping the place really clean, theres a really neat atmosphere, very private and comfortable. I live over 200 miles away from Tattoo 42 and from here on I wont go any where else for future work! Highly recommend them!!! I posted a pic of my tattoo here, its the rattle snake with "DONT TREAD ON ME".

I went in today to get my first tattoo and the staff was just amazing :) I went in with a somewhat idea of what I wanted but ended up getting something that has so much meaning to me and John did such an amazing job he made my first tattoo experience painless and beautiful.... Im definitely going back when I add more things to my tattoo !!!

Went here to get my monroe re done and kaitlin did such an amazing job on it and was so sweet and very friendly i will always come here for piercings no where else!! My husbands has most of his tattoos done there and they did so amazing also he got his first piercing and they did awesome on it!! Love them!
