Today I had a very poor experience at Walgreens on Coburg Road in Eugene, OR. After going to the doctor and being prescribed antibiotics, an order was placed at Walgreens. After my doctors appointment, I drove to Walgreens pharmacy expecting to wait 15 minutes or so and was surprised to hear I would need to wait 2 hours for my order. Walgreens took my phone number and reported they would text me when my order was ready. I drove home and waited. After 3 hours I decided to call, but was on hold for over 15 minutes. I gave up, but was confident that they would text me soon. After 5 1/2 hours I called again an was on hold for another 15 minutes +. I decided to drive Walgreens again and was surprised to see no one in line. In fact no customers were in the pharmacy at all. I was able to see the pharmacy personnel quickly and I asked about my order. I learned that my order was still not ready and they needed to fill it. I waited 15 minutes and while waiting a text was received that my order was ready. When paying for my prescription I asked to speak to the manager. I let the manager know about my experience and during the whole time their phones ringing off the hook and going unanswered (no one in their pharmacy was answering the phones). The manager was polite, let me know they were busy, and that there was no excuse for the poor service I received. After this experience its unlikely I will do business with Walgreens again.

Used them as they were the only ones open after my sons appointment with after hours clinic. Waited in line for 15 minutes to be told to wait another 20, gave them my insurance card and demographic. After 35 minutes, I was told that his insurance wasnt "working". At 945 with 2 kids in the car (with my husband), on a school/work night, I decided to just pay and leave. When I tried to pay they asked for my demographic info. "Thats not what we have." Well... I JUST updated it with you 35 minutes ago. After I told them AGAIN what my address etc was, I got only ONE of the two Rxs, as they "missed" the second one. I said I would come back today for the other one. I called my insurance company, told them what they said and was told everything was fine on their end. I called this morning to tell them that my insurance was fine. I again read my ID # to them. They said its invalid, they will call the insurance company. They call me back and rudely tell me that its figured out, that the ID has an "O" not a "0". I said, yeah, I know, thats what I told you, "O", not ZERO, and you looked at my card twice last night. "Well thats not what was in our system." So thats my error?? Overall, very incompetent, rude staffing. I will not be using this location in the future.

We have used Walgreens in years past and have since switched to CVS. However there are a few times a year we use Walgreens and every time it is a total fiasco, they constantly claim to not recive faxes from both drs and other pharmacys. Today I had CVS transfer my chrones meds to Walgreens because they were the only ones in the area That had it. I went in the following day and was told they had no record and was sent away. On my way out I called cvs to clarify when it was sent. With CVS on the phone I confirmed the fax number and then, magically they had a big stack of faxes they thumbed thru that had not been looked at yet. Not that they DID NOT receive it or have "any record" as I was told. If this was a one time thing I would give them a pass, but literally every time we use Walgreens it takes days of harassing to get anything filled. Also, while I sat and waited for my RX several regular customers came to the window and were turned away as I was, telling the pharmacy they had called it in days prior? If the clerk would have turned and checked the faxes and pending fills I imagine their cutomer service rating would be higher.

This Walgreens filled only half of my prescription (30 capsules instead of 60), charged me full price, and refuses to admit their mistake. They are without any doubt the most disorganized pharmacy I have ever used. In addition they charge a much larger premium on generics than any other pharmacy chain. I will not use them again... EVER..... Not for a stick of gum, not for the last burrito on Earth. They would probably sell me half then try to convince me I bought the whole. They tell me they checked their security tapes which seems easy enough. The part that starts to confuse me is when I only receive half the capsules I was prescribed. Additionally, in december - 30 capsules cost less than $4, in January - 60 capsules cost over $33.

I have attended many different pharmacy stores as well as branches of Walgreens. I have to say that the efficiency rate of this location has got to be the worst Ive ever experienced- repeatedly. I now travel across town to attend a different Walgreens pharmacy. People have waited over 30 minutes in the supposed drive through port. Ive gone inside thinking it would be faster, however their response was that theyre extremely busy while there are no other visible customers around. Communication between the pharmacist and client is horrible- no updates on prescriptions... Their answering system hung up on me repeatedly 4 times in a row. The attitude at this branch is only about business and not service.

The staff at the pharmacy desperately needs customer service training. They frequently ignore people who are waiting, leave customers in the middle of transactions, and offer little explanation as to why they cant be bothered to help them right then. I went with an RX that it turned out they couldnt fill. After waiting in line for 20+ minutes, I was told, very curtly, "we dont do this." As Im new to the area, I asked if there was another pharmacy nearby, the response was a sigh with an annoyed "Safeway is right down the street." Politeness goes a long way, please teach your employees this.

This is a location that has great store employees, however, customer service is not staffs priority, pharmacy techs are very abrupt in communicating with customers. I have experienced it and have witnessed it numerous times while waiting. I feel like I'm an inconvenience and intrusion into there space. I wish other pharmacies would stay open late to offer this company some competition. It seems as though they have become complacent and customer service has been thrown out the door. Average wait... 30 minutes, and using drive thru isn't faster - they just ask you to drive around!
