If I could I wouldnt even give it a full star. My significant other and I were Christmas shopping and had our hands completely full of stuff we were going to purchase for our families, we went to find a worker to ask about a couple of the things we had and the employee knew nothing about anything, didnt offer to go ask someone, he was very very rude and told us verbatim, "I dont know anything about that stuff like I said but are you going to buy that stuff or not because I have a long line of people I need to help" we were very stunned. We set everything down because we didnt want to purchase anything at a store that treats anyone like that, even on Christmas Eve and then he asked us to go put everything back! We just walked out.

My involvement with this place is horrendous. The minute I stroll in, some woman continued following me assuming that I will steal or do something wrong. It was exceptionally uncomfortable and awkward for me to glance around and make the most of my opportunity at the store on the grounds that each aisle I go, she is in that spot! she makes it very known that she is watching me and breaks personal space by creeping over my shoulder when my back is turned away or continually remaining close to me and watching what I do. Next time, Ill bring a set of binds so she can bind us both together and we can both walk around the store together.

i thought this place was absolutely unique and fun to browse around in during the evenings before going to safeway in the late 90s, or for shopping around the holidays. it was so packed with knick-knacks, stuff youve never find all under the same roof and apparently randomly organized. id end up finding thick colored thread to fix older clothing, i think there were throw rugs, or blankets hanging up, backpacks, candles, toys, cards, wind chimes, a pharmacy, a postal service, household items, on AND on... i really didnt like the one on franklin blvd. as much.

When i first stepped in the store i noticed an overbearing smell i could not handle, also everything was extremely cluttered, the quality of items was very cheap, and the staff were disrespectful I had made a complain about an employee which i would never normally do but in this circumstance i had to, the owner had happened to be in the building so i discussed my concerns with him and he was extremely ill-mannered . long story short i will never step foot inside that store again...awful experience.

Customer service is a complete joke here. I called in advance to ask if my prescription was ready, and they said it was but when we went to pick it up it hadnt even been filled yet. In addition, even though we brought the same insurance card as last time, they tried to say that it didnt cover prescriptions, even though it was the same pharmacy and same card as the last visit. NEVER going back again.

Hirons is one of the BEST STORES ON THE PLANET! Cant find a gift for that special person? Go to Hirons. Cant find that one thing you want anywhere in town? Go to Hirons! My only complaint is that their prices are a little high, but their sales make up for it! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. No kidding. My FAVORITE place to shop in Eugene; and I LOVE TO SHOP.

I had bought a gift at this store and it unexpectedly had some defects within a couple weeks of owning it. I ran into the owner a couple months later and told him about my experience. Within a week he had replaced my purchase and personally delivered it to my house. Tough to find amazing local business owner service like that anymore!

Do not purchase headphones here. The headphone selection looks varied, but they are all made by the same company, Sentry. They are garbage. I purchased two pairs and explained the situation to the staff members, who ere friendly and willing to give me a refund. Hirons offers top notch quality customer service at this time.

Excellent customer service, especially in the pharmacy. Ive had all my prescriptions filled here for years. I dont understand any negative reviews, particularly regarding customer service. This store is full of random and unexpected things.

Hirons is the worst store I have ever been in by far. extremely disorganized, messy and hard to find things. disrespectful and undertrained staff. manager doesnt seem to care about his store at all. I will never be shopping there again.
