Yesterday was my first visit to the Adult Shop in Corvallis. it was a very pleasant experience.I was shopping for something for my wife for our anniversary and Cynthia, I think her name was, helped me choose a vibrator for her. She was very knowledgeable about everything and helped my pick out a We-Vibe 4. Cynthia explained the features and gave a great sales pitch. I also got a few other items for us to play with. One of the other items was a cock ring which was something I had never tried before and I ended up with one to small. I was back in the store today to get one that fit better and again Cynthia was there to help, I should have asked her for help the day before. I thought that going back today was going to be an embarrassing experience but definitely wasnt. I know my wife and I will be back soon to try a few more things.

Wow they have really gone downhill employee-wise in the last couple years. I remember a few years ago they had friendly helpful non-judgemental employees that made me feel less awkward being there. Theres this employee now that was rude and judgemental when it was completely unnecessary. Normally it wouldnt bother me, I get that everyone has bad days, but I get awkward going here in the first place, judging me and being rude really makes me extremely uncomfortable. I will probably never go back. I would not suggest going here if youre expecting anything more than pathetic judgemental customer service. The item selection is pretty good though.

I have never been so uncomfortable in an adult shop before. The gentlemen there would not stop asking me what I wanted even though I made it clear I didnt want help. He knelt down close to me and like made me talk about what I wanted and I was finally like "Im good Ill figure it out thanks." And he was like "yeah well Im kind of an expert in this field so you can talk to me" and winked at me. He was way too aggressive despite me making it very clear I was uncomfortable. And the lady there laughed and mocked that the vibrater I chose was so small. I left feeling violated, disgusted, and belittled.

After doing my research I went to the local store to get water based lube. I specified what I wanted, and got the 3rd degree about what I want it for. Directed me to the most expensive options available and got irritated when I informed her that I wanted sample sizes so I could try out some options. She started trying to argue with my choices. I ended up paying $10 for a bottle of lube that sells for $6 in their online store. I would not recommend shopping here unless you are OK with high pressure sales tactics, and poor customer service as soon as you show any independent thought.
