Dropped off my one year old GSP/husky to get a bath, I left to go to the grocery store while she was getting cleaned and got a call 10 minutes later asking for her to be picked up. The reason? She attempted to bite a handler. Never has my dog tried to bite anyone. Never has she acted aggressive towards anyone. But apparently in a store full of dog experts no one knows how to make a dog feel comfortable and not threatened. And what is more insulting is when I arrive to pick her up, the lady working is acting like my dog is going to leap at her throat or something. What a joke. Edit: after talking more with the handler I learned that she didnt really try to bite. She "turned her head quickly and it collided with my own head but she could have bitten me." When I asked what they do to calm down nervous dogs she told me they kennel them. Wow. What a great idea. Also she told me my fiance said we keep a muzzle on our dog at home. No. We never have. Why would she even say that? My fiance confirmed she never said anything like that. I gave 1 star to reflect their 1 star effort.

I have been taking my two pittbulls in this store for years, without any issue. I tried to go in yesterday and the "groomer/dog expert" started freaking out yelling and making a lot of noise. I went over to see if she needed? She started screaming at me telling me to get those vicious animals out of the store. Because of her energy my dogs start barking and so i got them away from her. The groomer tells the manager my dogs started barking and pulling me to get to her. I told him that was BS to watch the video from their cameras. He came back told me that he was sorry for her actions but i couldnt bring my dogs in there because they barked at her and he deemed the vicious. I told him he was a Fin idiot, the only reason my dogs barked was because she was going crazy in the corner. Wont be back, I run and operate a large kennel and they just lost a $15k a month account. petsmart is better anyways.

Wow, I was blown away by the conditions of the birds and their cages. Diarrhea was VERY evident in the cage, non soft poop was on the walls and the condition of the cocktail and conures were awful. Scraggly and dirty feathers. The store itself was drab and dirty. I only shop at PetCo, however this location is so terrible I will travel further to go to a cleaner, brighter store. One that takes care of its animals. Corporate really needs to take a look at this location. The salesman told me its a newer store location less than 2 years old. The appearance is that of a VERY old and neglected store.

I give them 3 mainly because if you buy an item for your pet there and it breaks or your pet chews threw it like my 135lbs pup does they will let you come back to either exchange the item or reimburse you. Plus the dog training set up was definitely great and affordable. They have a grooming area that you can set up an appointment for your pet too. (BUT THEIR PRICES CAN BE HIGH FOR LARGE DOGS) They also have a small hospital set up to but watch what you sign up for and make sure things are PERFECTLY CLEAR B4 SIGNING UP. (Toys and other items can be pricy)

Didnt know it was there until I saw the sign. Nobody greeted me or offered me assistance. Two workers were present. I had to go and find help for what I was looking for. Dewormer options are limited to one in this small Petco. The worker must have been new because he was unsure of what they carried. A plus is their vaccinations clinic that comes through I may check it out one day. However, I think I will stick to Petsmart for my monthly needs.

I really want to like this place because of the cute toys, collars, and clothes..... but the meal worms and moths really ruin it for me. I know that it is very hard to fix the pest problem with all the live animals there, but they need to do something. I tried to buy a bag of dog food that didnt have those bugs on it, but I couldnt imagine giving my dogs that food. Ill try again soon.

i love going to petco because it is right by my house and the employees are very helpful and friendly. the selection they sell is good as well. they try to shy away from the cheaper made animal foods and they have a bunch of salt water supplies, which is surprisingly hard to find.

I came here for their mobile veterinarian services on a Saturday. They offer walk in vaccinations for your pet, and it was great. All of the employees were very kind and helpful. It was a very quick and easy way to get my dog to date on his rabies vaccination.

Really small selection. Employees were more worried about hanging out and chatting than answering customers questions. When they finally realized we had a couple questions for them they were nice and informative.

Picked out my cats food, took it to the checkout and stood there for 4-5 minutes without anyone helping me. Left without my cats food and went elsewhere to buy it. I wont be back.

The store is kind of crowded with stuff and the aisles are narrow, but the workers are very nice. They even had one of the birds out of its cage riding around on their shoulder.

Very friendly & helpful staff. More variety than Petsmart as far as animals/fish. Comparable prices to Petsmart. Definitely would recommend & will return.
