From the minute I walked in the door, the older man, Dale, in the corner started to berate me and say that "I didnt know anything, and that I didnt want to know anything". At first, I thought he was kidding because I hadnt done anything to warrant such treatment. I never made it into the bookstore. I would warn anyone under the age of 35 to stay away from The Book Stall because you will only be degraded and put down if you dont know what "past perfect tense" means. That was a direct question posed to me by this member of the staff. Ive never had to take a test to buy or trade a book before, and did not appreciate it one bit. I will never go back to this store.

The owner was perfectly courteous and polite. He helped me find the books I wanted. Ive used that store for over 30 years and never had problems. Perhaps the two who did have problems also have attitude problems?

The Book Stall is a mazing. It’s old school used books. It’s like a thrift store of literature waiting to be discovered by anyone who takes the time to stop in and explore their collection of used books.
