Went here for a LONG time. Almost never had any issues. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its like talking to a friend since they are also gamers. They do have some good deals and prices on used stuff. Though sometimes you can find cheaper online. They also have great promotions and I am part of the GS rewards program which gives you like 10% additional of of things plus extra trade in value for things you want to sell them. And if you sign up you go get the Game Informer magazine for a year (digital or in mail). I dont really go there anymore only because I dont have time for gaming but whenever I do get a second to pop in I find what I need easily and they are still helpful. I cant think of any negatives really. Though I do notice many people complain about GS. Usually its because they (the customer) is a parent who doesnt understand something or its a teen/kid who well... are kids/teens and naturally can complain about alot.

I was at Game Stop yesterday to buy a controller for my sons PS4. My son had in his mind exactly what he wanted, and of course I had in my mind what would be best. I have to say that I received outstanding customer service from Samuel, or at least that was the name on my receipt. The young man who helped us was not only helpful, he really made it a point to make sure that I was happy with what we got, and that my son was especially happy! He also was kind enough to help me with getting info on a price match, as I did not buy the system from Game Stop, and that I am very sorry for. I will definitely be sure to shop Game Stop in the future. AND YOU SHOULD TOO!!

Some of the "preowned" items in this store are stolen. We had a number of thefts in our neighborhood and a lot of the items were found in this store. The store worker confessed that the teenage kid that sold him the stolen car GPS units and other electronics came in multiple time to sell. Its obvious he turned a blind eye to make a profit. We had to buy or stolen items back.

Wanted a simple yes or no question answered 30 min before they opened and all I got was someone pointing and a closed sign. Felt disrespected and not like a valued customer when I called to talk to a manager and got the explanation that they were too busy to answer a yes or no question.

The employees of this store speak to adults like they would a kid. Very disrespectful! I will NEVER shop that store ever again. When you order a prepaid game they will text you when it is in. When you go to get it, they are sold out. Very poor system!!

Came in to preorder sun and moon and I couldnt make the midnight event to come get them. So they made sure that I could come back tomorrow morning and get them. :)

Truthfully its the only video game store around. Their priced just like everyone else and wont give you anything for a trade in.
