Being an old guy and first time gammer my son bought me a Xbox 360. I try and shop local to help support my neighborhood. So I go to GameSurge at 506 Canton Rd to get a wireless adapter and my first came, I asked the young man behind the counter who clearly didnt like his job, if he had an adapter for the Xbox 360, he rolled his eyes and said $50.00 I told him I looked on line and other places was selling it for only $19.00 and he just walked away, Wow.. But I stayed calm and I bought a game anyways but not the adapter I bought that on line at another Game store for only $9.99 with free shipping. As for the game, I brought home where my boy freaked out when he seen I bought a used game for $20.00 he went on line and Walmart is selling the same game New for $13.00. So my son goes to return the unopened game on was treated more rudely than I and was told no cash refunds. I had to take the "new game" to family video to get cleaned so it would play... I will never go back

I go in to the store hoping to help my local economy improve by buying local even if it costs me more and what i get is done smelly greasy punk kid that knew everything about nothing. Apparently these people who run this outfit dobt care much about what happens to what theyre trying to build. Low ball trade ins, high prices to purchase anything, below average customer service, below average employee knowledge. I know the answer to this equation, closing down or being bought our for bottom dollar by a better competitor. Its sad to see a local business not care about the state of the business their running #flybynightgamesakron

These D-bags.... i swear to god. I call. do you have an xbox mic? yeah. ok, cool.... we get there, he says: "We got this one but its broken" WHAT THE ----?!?!?! Can i return this game? "DO YOU HAVE A RECEIPT?" I was literally just in there, until i realized i got the wrong game. i bought Halo:Reach and got Halo:ODST. HE SAYS, SORRY BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE THE RECEIPT I CANT GIVE YOU A REFUND. WHAT THE F?!?!?!?! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THERE!

This is my favorite game store. They offer a fair price on trades (usually around 25$ for a fairly new game) thats the best price you will find around. Anybody who has written a bad review probably isnttelling you the whole story (nobody will refund a game with no reciept). I go to the one in ellet and since ive been going there ive sworn off of gamestop and the exchange. Theygive better deals than all competitors.

The staff and I have actually become close friends in the 4 years Ive been going there. GREAT and wonderful people from the beggining. The shop itself had a few problems in the beggining but they have all been fixed. Great prices both on selling and buying. Also, unlike other bigger chains of game stores, I know from experience I can trust their games all systems to be in working order.

My son received a gift card for his birthday it has Ellet and west store numbers on the card. We go to the Ellet store and the owner tries to tell me its not redeemable at her store. I show her the card with her store on it and she says the balance is zero. Cheap little dirty store, cheap owner. Go to game exchange.

I have only been there a couple times, but both visits were great. I called them an hour after they closed, and they still let me come in to clean a game I messed up. Talk about great service. Prices are better than most places, and they will give more money for used games than other competing stores in the area.

Absolutely the worst game store in Akron. Employee here on Sunday was beyond clueless and passed on a game cause it was dirty? Yes I said dirty. I just grabbed my stuff and left. I hate going to gamestop but they at least have a clue what they are doing.

Place sucked I had a mw3 barely played because my ps3 broke and they only gave me 10$ but I took ncaa football 12 in and they have me 15 for it and thats in store credit they tried to only give me 5 $ cash for mw3

The prices are higher than competitors and the employees are dishonest. Store only accepts returns for store credit, but dont readily give out that information even when inquiring about the return policy.
