I love this place because its the only craft store in the city with the supplies I need for a major project. However, on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, I was meeting a friend at the store. While I browsed while waiting, I became increasingly aware that a good three or four employees kept popping up wherever I went. I got a message from my friend and went toward the front to meet her only to be "greeted" by three more employees, one of whom followed me out into the furniture area where I was waiting for my friend, when, once she and her daughter arrived, I had to tell her that I was being followed. Yet when I needed help on Tuesday and in the past, Ive been blatantly ignored. Ive worked in retail. I know how to look for theives. I was in no way showing any behavior that would spur anyone to suspect that I was stealing. Yet, while my friend and I shopped, employees kept conveniently showing up right where we were or where wed been. One guy was unpacking Christmas ornaments in the Crayola supplies aisle. Another kept walking past the section we were in. The woman who followed me out of the store earlier also kept popping up. Once we got to the checkout, one of the "greeters" acted as if nothing had happened. Im the forgiving sort, so I didnt ask for a manager or anything. I happened to see something interesting on another register and looked for the price. The employee standing there moved the "register closed" sign closer to me as if I hadnt seen it before. I told her that I was looking at the item and, again, didnt ask to see a manager. Listen. I love your store. You have awesome things, but if you guys dont come up with some kind of diversity and cultural sensitivity training, someones going to get angry at the obvious racial profiling and take you to court. Nip it in the bud now rather than later.

While looking for a last minute Christmas stocking gift I pulled over and quickly popped into (for the first and last time ever) this place. It was creepy. I mean seriously CREEPY! ... all the folks "shopping" in there where kind of shuffling around like zombies with no where else to go. Very weird experience. Not sure if that is how the regular clientele are or if the holiday simply drained these particular people of their life force. Wont be going back... :o

All of these crafts stores always seem SO cluttered to me, but maybe thats the nature of crafting... I always have to ask for help to find the one thing Im there for, but fortunately, I was able to quickly find someone who led me right where I needed to go. The checkout line was a nightmare. 2 people in front of me, spent nearly 20 minutes in line. One lane open.

Kind of your typical Hobby Lobby. If youve never been, its sort of like a michaels but generally cheaper prices. I like that there is a coupon online that you can always use when you are checking out... always nice to save some money. The people are all generally friendly.

The places is nice enough, and the selection is fairly nice but it has two major problems. First everything is way to expensive, even during sales, and second, anytime theyre out of something it seems to take forever to restock or order.

They ran a sale and there were a lot of people there. All the card machines were running extremely slow with little explanation why and they ran a gift card that wouldnt go. Couldnt process returns. Update your machines.
