Country Fabrics is one of the best fabric stores in all of Ohio that I am aware of, and I have taken my wife to many from North Western and North Eastern Ohio to Columbus, Amish Country, Mansfield, and Lima. She has a huge selection of up to date fabric at outstanding prices. In her large store, Rachel sells, fabric, Mennonite items, Rythm Clocks, knitting supplies, Yarn Lazy Susan Systems, Quilt Racks, Quilt Bar Clamps, Quilts, and much more. Her husband even sells his own brand of fertilizer at the store. Close by is the Country Store where Amish Cheeses and meats, bulk foods, and more can be found. It is financially viable to drive 50 miles to get there just to for fabric. Quilting services are available at prices lower than many other businesses offer, and the quilt making classes are reasonably prices. There is even free coffee for me while my wife shops, but I also enjoy browsing upstairs wher all the looms and quilt racks and yarn are kept.

A great place to inspire you for sewing and craft projects. The staff is friendly, very helpful and always willing to assist with questions. What a wonderful place filled with such a large variety of fabrics and notions and unique items. It is very difficult to just run in and out! Plan to have time to browse. They have a very nice newsletter that can be mailed out, listing their classes, sales, recipes and a friendly update that makes you feel more like family than just a customer. The personal touch is such a great addition to their business. I had been looking for a specific pattern and unable to locate it elsewhere. Sheryl went out of her way, beyond the typical customer service that you find elsewhere. I truly appreciated her help! I dont find this type of personal assistance in Columbus. Thank you.

I have been buying from Rachels store for over 25 years. She has always had up to date fabrics, and even some hard to fine older fabrics I have hunted for. Her prices are better then any fabric shop I have been to. This includes shops throughout Ohio, WV, Michigan and Pa. She and her staff are all lovely and most helpful. You wont be disappointed in stopping by to shop or even just look around. She has built a new store ; house was store before. The barn is beautiful in its self to see. Tons of things to see. You can find cooking, canning and household items as well.

Great variety of fabrics as well as gift items. Ask to sign up for their newsletter that will let you know about classes and events. Nice store in an out of the way location. Take an afternoon and frequent all of the stores in the area. You will love the relaxing atmosphere in the Shiloh area.
