My home laptop hard drive crashed. I had potentially lost hundreds of old family photos being scanned for digital preservation. I had not yet back it up to an external hard drive. The goof-offs at Best buy were telling me that data recovery was going to cost a minimum of $1000 to $1500. The stated reason for the high cost was is had to be taken apart in clean room. The guys at PC Power were able to hook my laptops hard drive to one of their diagnostic computers, they were able to get an image of ALL the data, photos and documents on my laptop and saved it to my external hard drive. Best of all, They only normally charge $180 for this service. I have since take that old laptop back to them so they could install a new hard drive and software. Do yourself a favor, call PC Power if you need any computer support
