AIM Surplus Recently experienced a data breach, anyone who uploaded a copy of their photo ID (DL, for example) or FFL/C&R license has been compromised. If you ordered before early April 2016 and uploaded your DL for age-verification contact your local Police Dept. as soon as possible and have this documented! I also contacted the AG in my home State and also in Ohio where AIM is based. AIM should have put customer privacy first and implemented a secure way to upload IDs and FFL/C&R licenses on the site. This is AIMs fault and they could care less. Ive spent thousands on firearms and ammunition with them over the past couple of years, no more...I will be taking my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same. Please go to your local Police Dept. and file a report so this is documented if you have purchased anything from this company and take a moment to file a report with FTC and the AG in your State. If you are a C&R license holder contact the ATF as well!

Great place-done thousands of dollars of business with them. Never a problem. The new facility is a real upgrade. The Showroom manager is friendly helpful and above all knowledgeable and is happy to see you. Everything I have ordered has been shipped in reasonable time but I mainly pick the stuff up since they are 12 minutes away. They also respond to issues. I bought a G-34 MOS from them and noted that the Glock plates do not fit some of the RMR sights as claimed. It wasnt AIMS fault but they advised which ones did work and they were right. Far better experience than I had with GLOCK BTW

Ive ordered several things from AIM Surplus and have never had a problem. They are always fast and always accurate. Their Web Site is dead simple to use and the Notify Me option is awesome. The only downfall i have to them is they will not allow you to pick up parts and accessories on Tuesdays and Thursday. They reserve that for FFL only. As a local, its kind of a bummer that i cannot go pick up stuff when i want. The prices cannot be beat, and they carry GOOD stuff.

I do a little gunsmithing on the side. Ive ordered MANY TIMES from them. They have a huge product selection and are, more often than not, lower on pricing than many others. I am VERY loyal to them. I ordered a part for the first time a few months back and it took almost a week before they even shipped the part. I figured well it was just because I was a new customer had to get things in system so a week ago I ordered some magazines and they have yet to even ship them no email or phone call saying why or what the issue is. I dont think I will ever do business with aim surplus again

Formerly a firearms distributor to dealers, AIM now has entered the consumer market and sells both new parts and surplus parts and firearms to the general public, both through direct shipment and their showroom. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful both in person and over the phone, and shipping is fast. Condition of used items is always up front and correct.

Pros: reasonable prices, free shipping Cons: extremely slow shipping Having a backlog is understandable, not informing your customers in advance isnt. I ordered parts for this AR build from 4 vendors and the other 3 had my orders delivered in under 10 days, but it took over 3 weeks from AIM. Thats not acceptable.
