This is the first time I have written a review so I suppose I should begin by apologizing for all the mistakes I am about to make. If you are a world class shooter who knows the difference between an Anschutz and an MOA, you can skip this review because you already have the knowledge and the contacts to get what ever you need, but if you are a regular guy who wants to tap into a lifetime of quality shooting experience from three men you can trust and who has access to any shooting product available in the free world, your day just got brighter. Here’s the set up every time I’ve been there, there’s Jeff (the son) he’s a gunsmith, handles sales and is known all over the United States for his original AR-15 platform designs, this guy is to AR-15s that John Wayne is to cowboy movies, he is the real deal. Next we have Mike (the magical 6th man on a basketball team) he does it all,, sales, service and anything else that needs to be done. Finally we have Robert Jones, owner, gunsmith, weapons historian and master of the rear strangle take down with his ever present Gerber, ask him for a demonstration,,, I dare you. In a nut shell, if it don’t work, they can fix it. If you need a part, they can find it. If you want to learn, they will teach you. Lastly a few things you can expect from the folks at JenAmy ; You will be treated with honesty and respect. They will answer all your questions and are willing to do the research to back up their answers. They will look you in the eye when they talk to you. When your business is done and it’s time to leave, you will shake their hands and tell them that you will be back, cause you just found a gem. Thanks for reading this, Dewey Bond Goshen, Ohio Rangers Lead the Way

These guys are my "go to" people for gun related knowledge and especially advice and supplies on reloading my own ammunition. Every time i go into the shop to pick up bullets or powder i learn something new. They are extremely helpful and you can tell that they are passionate about firearms, which is something i truly appreciate. I have had them complete a few gunsmithing jobs for me on my ar 15s and ar 10s and the work is amazing. Their barrel threading is very impressive and the specs are right on point. I could not recommend this place more! With so many name brand gunshops in the tri-state area raising their prices and offering sub par customer service, i strongly recommend going to a place where the people who will be offering you advice and working on your guns/helping with your firearms decisions truly love what they do. They are not here to "make a quick buck" off of you and send you on your way, and they dont hire a bunch of guys who are not knowledgeable with firearms. Jenamy is always my first stop for anything firearms related.

Hands down the best gun shop Ive ever visited! I walked into Jenamy after visiting various other local gun shops searching for my first AR-15 at the right price. I had done extensive research and knew what I wanted and what I was ready to pay for it but didnt find what I was looking for anywhere until Jenamy. I started off thinking I would buy a factory built AR but before I knew it Bob and I had parts spread across the counter and he was handing me his personal weapons as examples of what could be done and how certain parts fit and felt. Bob didnt try to upsell, he just clearly and honestly used his (very extensive) knowledge to explain the pros and cons of different parts. At the end of it all he entered the SKUs of all the parts into his POS and gave me a price. I got everything I wanted and more for much less than I expected. Bob also gave me a great deal on a case of ammo and had the rifle assembled for me before the close of business the same day. Ive found my go-to gun store.

While it took me a bit to find it (or rather a call to figure out I was in the right area) everyone at the shop was helpful and polite. As a young guy I find most old gun store owners look down on, or outright ignore me. Quite the opposite here. I had a (really simple) front sight issue with a gun and had wanted to get them to fix it for me, they instead corrected what I thought I needed, and sold me what I did instead of taking a "gunsmithing" job to work a simple screw in. They could have very easily lied, deceived, or just let me run with the notion I had that would have given them more money (The part they sold me came to cheaper than Midway has it [before shipping], with taxes). They didnt, they did the right thing in a very courteous and friendly manner. I dont have a lot of experiences with Jenamy Gun Shop, but I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

DO NOT USE THIS LIAR. This gunsmith stated that he could complete a job in a specific time. A call was made to see if the job was finished or when it would be, I was informed by someone who worked for this company that it was not done and a call would be made when it was. He stated that it was very busy right now however, they had the gun for two months with a specified date of completion, which it was not completed by. While talking on the phone someone in the background said if they dont want to wait to come get it. The gun was picked up uncompleted in a box in pieces. For someone who was in the military, his professionalism sucks. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!!!! NEVER USE!!!!!!!!!!

I found Jenamy Gun shop by chance while searching for someone to do some custom gunsmithing on my .50 Beowulf. These people exceeded my highest expectations. They are great people to do business with, and the quality of their work is second to none. Everyone I dealt with at Jenamy was polite, professional, and helpful. They actually did the work the day they received my gun. These guys are great. I was expecting a much, much higher bill. Jenamy is fast, fair, friendly, and everything as promised. I can honestly say they are my new gunsmith, and I plan on checking with them first in the future before purchasing a new gun or any reloading supplies.

Honest, friendly, knowledgeable patriots. I have visited and done business with five other shops in Cincinnati. This is by far the best shop in town for just about anything to do with guns, from purchasing firearms, getting transfers, and they can also handle any gunsmithing work from AR-15s to 50 year old shotguns. Bob, Jeff, and Mike are all great to deal with and can help those who are new to shooting or advanced shooters who need custom work. Owners and staff from other gun shops should go there to observe and learn the proper way to do business with customers.

I have been a returning customer to this place of business for years. I have yet to find anyone better... (and Ill admit, Im fairly particular!) These fine gentlemen have always been courteous, knowledgeable, willing to teach, willing to listen! I consider these guys my "LGS" (Local Gun Shop) to serve all of my needs in this arena. Bob, Mike, and Jeff are a pleasure to work with, and if Im lucky enough to drop by any time around Veterans Day, you better believe that I thank all of them for their service to our country... Thanks guys!
