You will need to ignore the bottom paragraph of this review. They have such a poor website, they do not even enable you to edit the end. Just another example of how they have LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE! As long as they get your $, they could care less about you, worse, they sell you the WRONG SIZE OF THINGS THAT ARE TO KEEP YOUR BELOVED PET SAFE! Then wont refund, even with receipt, original packaging, pristine condition, and NOT TELLING YOU NO REFUNDS UNTIL AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR $~ even then, they doo NOT tell you, they print it on tiny tiny letters at very bottom of receipt. Even when they are at fault for wrong size!! If it were possible to give less than 1 star, I would! My son went in to get a seatbelt harness for our black lab puppy. He took the puppy in. The "professional" told him the appropriate size.It was way too big. When we went to return it, having had to get one from someone else, since Petzone was closed for the night already. When we went to return this, some man (NOT A GENTLEMAN!!) said mo refunds. After checking with my son, asking if he was told that before they took our money, he said no. One problem, the sales professional FAILED TO TELL HIM IT WAS NOT ABLE TO BE RETURNED BEFORE~YES, BEFORE TAKING OUR MONEY. He did not know, nor did I, that in teeny tiny letters at very bottom of receipt it said no refunds. They charge about TWICE what everyone rlse in the market charges. My son went there figuring a sales "professional" and believe me, that is a tongue-in-cheek professional", would be able to guide him in proper fit and how to install it for keeping with pup safe. Wrong on all counts!! QHe school EVERY Americait back a different day, despite having the receipt, all original packaging, would not issue a refund

I will NEVER buy from here again . I thought I had the perfect experience with petzone when I purchased for my first time here the guy working was very kind but I found out that was just to get money . I purchased a rat that was covered in mites/ lice and it wasnt even two days after the purchase after his bath that I noticed them ! When I went in the manager was on the phone for 45 minutes avoiding me even after an employee told him I needed to speak to him , and continued to stay busy after He was off the phone until I had to interrupt him when confronted said it wasnt from the store but it was on the other rats there . Then my boyfriend brought the rat in and he soaked my pet with a bird mite spray that I read could be very toxic for my baby and the bottle clearly says 3-4 bursts MAX and they said he stayed him 16-20 and even in his face . Im beyond upset and will not be coming back here or recommending this place to anyone . This place doesnt even deserve 1 star . The owners does not deserve to have this store if he doesnt know what hes doing . Most the animals are in bad conditions .

Geneve Higgins, its funny that you say that about your fish. Especially since I recognize you as the AQUATICS SPECIALIST from Petco. You should study your field a bit more for that job title considering you are an apparent aquatics specialist who is supposed to be able to tell if a fish is ill or not. Seems odd you would have all that knowledge and by an allegedly sick fish anyway and then complain about it dying after THREE WHOLE WEEKS. Petzone has an amazing and knowledgeable staff, always a fun and friendly place to be. A wide selection of solid products and animals that seem well taken care of. Overall this is the only place I will go for my animal needs because big corporate chain stores are just there to sell a product, not a new family member

While the man selling to me was beyond friendly and wonderful, Im extremely disappointed about the condition the animals are kept in. The parakeets are stuffed into a small fish tank, BIRDS IN A FISH TANK, and the parrot in the corner cage looked so depressed and lethargic, didnt even respond when I tried to get its attention. Animals are piled on top of each other trying to climb the walls like the rats and mice. The tortoise was also in the same size tank, an animal that needs at minimum 2x4 space. It actually really pissed me off. For people who seem so knowledgeable they should accommodate their animals better... please buy your pets from better breeders who know how to properly care for the animal.

The best place to go. Family owned for over 20 years. How dare anyone say a negative thing about a man supporting his family. The best people I know. I think that people want something for nothing these days. If it makes people feel good about themselves putting others down that is sad. A man who works long hours and is lucky to get one day off a week with his wife and 3 children....shame on all of you for saying anything bad about a hard working man...if you dont like the store dont go there but you shouldnt smear a good mans name. If he seems stressed maybe it is because he misses his family and hasnt stopped catering to the Marion community for 18 years. How about that haters!

The man who works in the store told me he would buy hamsters from me at one price then when I got to the store said he would not and he said he would only give me $5 in store credit. Then I bought a wheel for my hamsters and went to return it because I found one that was better made and he got very rude. The third time I went to the store he was picking on someone who was a little slow that worked there and I totally disagree with that. I used to love this store and think they did a good job but now it seems they think theyre getting a little too big for their britches. I no longer like this store and I wish they would revert back to the way they used to be. :(

Pet Zone is a great humble small store! great owners and customer assistance.FANTASTIC groomer named Sammy. I trust her doing both my long haired cats and my tiny little puggle. they only want whats best for their customers and the animals. Ive been a customer since I was a child and now Ive been working for Pet Zone the past 3 years. I can tell you the employees and management really works hard to keep the pets and pets supplies at its best for the potential buyers. employees and very knowledgeable and pets are well kept. I would suggest pet zone to everyone I know.

I enjoy shopping here. They provide good service and sell american made stuff. I read the review on here that they do not have any knowledge of pets. I find it odd that someone that has Marions longest running pet store is claimed no knowledge of pets. This guy has owned just about every kind of pet there is, I would find it hard to believe that a 16 year old at petco knows more than him when it comes to pets. Crickets are healthy here too and are counted correctly.

I was a regular in this store for a few years dealing with my bearded dragons, before I moved to north Carolina, this shop Is the best iv been in as far as customer service and knowing about the animals they sell, the owner(Shawn) was/is a really cool guy who truly loves what he does yes the shop needs a little work due to being family ran and dont have the big corporation $$budget but id recommend this place to anyone in the area.
