We live in Findlay, OH and our lawn mower died, we found a lawn mower we liked at Menards in Findlay but, the Findlay store was out of stock. They searched local stores and found that Marion had several, so the Findlay store called the Marion one and my parents used their credit card to purchase the mower over the phone, and I was going to pick it up on my way back from moving in at school. When I got to the Menards in Marion to pick it up, I was informed that my parents had to pick it up because their name was on the order even though we told them I was going to be picking it up and I had the card that it was paid for with. They called our home but my parents were at work. I called my mom at work and asked her to call them and tell them I could pick the mower up, she called them but they said they couldnt verify she was who she said she was. After fighting with them for almost an hour (and re-explaining everything because there was a shift change mid way), we finally convinced them to let me pick it up. I drove my dad’s truck around back to load the mower up; they didnt have ramps to load the mower up like most places that sell stuff like that would. So they brought the mower out on a forklift (in its shipping crate). I took one look at the crate and told them it wouldnt fit and that it would have to be removed from the crate, but they insisted it would fit and proceeded to jam the crate into the back of the truck. When they were "finished" loading the mower, the back 1/3 of the mower was hanging off behind the tailgate. I took back roads home because I didnt trust the load for the highway. When I got home and unloaded it, we discovered that they had damaged the truck when they jammed the mower in with the forklift. The Findlay Menards has always been a great store and we have shopped there for years but we will never shop at the Marion Menards again, due purely to their incompetence and rudeness!

Discussed why could not get service. Was very mad at cashier ask her about fans blonde head girl Marion this Sunday. She said what type. Give me a break get off your behind call someone. U lost 333.oo to Meijers u dumb Ass. Cabinets por table could not reach. Spent 225. If your customer service was up to power business would not be walking out your fools. I was with my Daughter by the way she bought phones too. Most unhelpful people I ever met. U go to Reynoldsburg Ohio terriffic people. Really sad for your people. U have absolute morons working there or they dont give a damn.

Service is great. We speacial order around 450,000 dallors a year. With that many orders thier has been mistakes but they always make it right . The person who based thier review off one experiance is a fool. They send you an email when your order is in and they get busy with consumers and may not call you back. Thier are more people at menards to help you out then lowes and they actully know where stuff is. Lowes they look with you, so annoying. I never leaves menards without being asked if i need help at least twice. Lowes you can never find anyone!

I really like Menards. My first choice for anything home improvement. Much better prices over Lowes but I dont really care for their stupid mail in rebate at all. Why not just give instant rebates, because they hope you will just be lazy about it and not bother with them. Menards has a great selection on all kinds of stuff. Fun to look around and see what they offer. The customer service here does suck and they dont have the best associates so Lowes does have them beat there.

untrained staff, minimal staff, incredibly inconvenient pickup of special order items, and there is no good parking space in the lot because of their football field distance between their entrance and exit. Sometimes it is worth spending a tiny bit more for a more quality experience at Henry Lumber or Lowes . Oh, and the hassle of the processing involved with the 11% rebate is a joke. Thanks Lowes for the instant rebate.

The service at this place is terrible. I dont know how your menards is in your town but in Marion, Ohio it is the abosolutley terrible. Had a special order come in and called before I made the 30 minute drive. Talk to an associate who said he would check for me and call me back and guess what.... NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. Made the trip and it wasnt at the store. Save yourself some trouble and go to LOWES!

I appreciate it when the team members get a phone call they take your name and number so they can focus on the guest that is there in front of them. I also like that if you dont know where something is they walk you there. Very kind people and good prices:-)

Apparently, in order to acquire some cabinets and a single door. It takes about 1 1/2+ hours.... Then when the the items are finally brought. Its the wrong door... Im currently stuck at Menards. Still waiting for a door...
