Interesting fun fact that youll find out about when you TRY to return a clearance item for the first time. Notice the emphasis placed on the word try. Thats because the receipt you receiver after completing the transaction will clearly state all clearance purchases are final. What use is that after the fact. Most stores will advise you of this either during the checkout process or even better yet at the signs on the clearance isle. Neither was done here. Glad I chose the stuff I wanted. Not happy the full price at Homedepot is still more competitively priced than at Acehardware. Id like to support the "local" store over the so called big box without feeling like Ive been hoodwinked in the process.

Ive been here countless times, but I feel the Stihl service department deserves some acknowledgement. I was experiencing issues with my Stihl chainsaw, so I called the store on 10/23/16 and was connected to Jim in the service department. He was pleasant and said to come on in and I would be helped right away...sure enough, 30 minutes later I was at his counter and he observed I was holding a chainsaw and addressed me by name. He got right to it, diagnosed my saw and had me out the door in twenty minutes with a fully functional tool. A big bonus to me was that he gave me several maintenance tips along the way. Awesome!! Thanks, Jim!

Great service. Sure there are some areas where they dont have the selection or prices of the big orange or blue stores, but there are areas where they blow them away. The staff is always friendly and helpful without being annoying. The fastener selection is especially good. Love seeing them support Girl Scout troops and other groups too.

Ace on Gunn Hwy is truly a "neighborhood" store. I had paint cans which were purchased at a big box store and the manager here graciously used her machines to shake up these paint cans for me so I didnt have to drive all the way back to the big box! How great was that - Love them!!

Fantastic store, no crowds, very helpful, cheerful staff, have a better selection of what I go to a "hardware store" for, than the other big names, and I can get my shiny, new propane tank filled without trading it in for some rusty old tank.
