As someone who had very little jewelry buying experience and next to no jewelry knowledge, looking for the perfect engagement ring was a daunting task. I visited as many stores and talked to as many jewelers as humanly possible, but deciding to go with Saxon Jewelers was far and away the best decision I made throughout this whole process (besides proppsing to my girlfriend, of course!) I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for in a ring to make it as personal and special as possible, but (and as I suspect most people is my shoes would be), I was nervous about finding someone who would get my vision and could do it right AND within my modest budget, especially as it was going to be a custom job. Mike Saxon came through on all counts. He was awesome to work with and made a SPECTACULAR ring that my fiancee cant stop staring at and showing off. He even called and emailed me often so that I could come in and see how the process was going. This is not the kind of service youll get at most places, and I appreciated getting to witness it step by step. If you want to buy a piece of jewelry thats going to turn out beautiful, be special for the receiver, be made by a trustworthy and immensely skilled jeweler, and thats not going to bust your bank account, I cannot recommend Saxon Jewelers enough.

Mike Saxon helped me to design an engagement ring over the course of 6 months. I was continually making minor changes to the design of the ring, and I’m sure at times I could have been described as being a pain. However, Mike never made me feel that way and I felt very comfortable in telling him my opinions as the ring design developed. Working with Mike was like working with a friend. I never once felt pressured to make a decision and Mike is not in the market to upsell you on something else. Mike took my idea and turned it into a beautiful reality that he made by hand, which is so much better than anything you will find at one of the larger jewelry retailers. I can honestly say that working with Mike and Saxon Jewelers and Gemologists was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I first walked through the doors to the time I walked out with the engagement ring he helped me to design, I never wished I had gone someplace else. Mike’s knowledge, experience, craftsmanship and overall attitude reassured me that I made the right decision. Mike helped take what I thought would be a stressful experience and turned it into something enjoyable and memorable. Oh, and my fiancé loves the ring! I will be going back to Mike for all my futures jewelry needs.

I brought in earrings I bought elsewhere that had hooks. My wife could not wear them as they were too heavy and would stretch her ear holes. Saxon converted them to post mount just how I wanted them - center mounted. These earrings were special as they had real flowers petrified in its center. I started at another retailer whose jeweler wanted to create post mounts at the top of the earring (they are square). They were afraid to solder to the back metal. I remembered Saxon because I ordered custom engraved love letters from them years ago (its one of their signature items). Saxon explained the process, we discussed options, and decided to proceed by applying another thin metal that would bond to the back metal so that the back metal would not melt; and use a low heat soldering method. The earrings turned out awesome and my wife wore them immediately! I certainly applaud people who care about details and are not afraid of a difficult task. This is what I expect from a custom jeweler. Well done.

Quality, care and passion. Mike is a rare find in todays market. He treats you like family and cares for your most treasured pieces as if they were his own. He knew from one look at my ring what was previously repaired and how it was crafted. He took the time to explain and show me under a microscope what was causing my prongs to deteriorate and how to properly correct them. I did not wear my ring for a year when it needed repairs because I could not find a trusting jeweler that cares about quality, but those worries are gone now. He did extensive repair work and replaced a missing diamond. His showcase of custom jewelry is a something to see, it is a lost craft and art. Saxon Jewelers were fantastic! I needed to size a platinum diamond ring down and the process couldnt have been easier. Mr. Saxon himself worked with me to schedule an appointment where he could size the ring while I waited. He was very thorough and measured my finger several times (I was between sizes), showed me the serial number on the diamond before and after sizing and even brought it out half-way through sizing to make sure that it fit well before finalizing it. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes! He even called me the next day to make sure it was fitting ok because he didnt want me to go the weekend uncomfortable. Absolutely wonderful service. We will only be going here now for all of our Jewelry needs!

I found Saxon Jewelers online when I did a Google search for laser soldering. Mike was quick to respond to my message and provide me with the information I needed and even went above and beyond due to the distance I was travelling and gave a loose estimate (which they typically do not do because no 2 pieces are the same) just to make sure I had enough money on me. The customer service I received was 10 star. He even let me take a closer look at my stones in the microscope just so I understood what he was talking about. I highly recommend Saxon. My wife and I took our wedding bands in to Saxon Jewlers to have my band resized and her band fixed as she lost one of the stones. My band was multiple layers and needed to be increased almost two sizes. Instead of cutting the band and simply inserting a piece, they took the layers apart and increased the size of each layer and put it back together. I cannot tell they took it apart at all. The ring looks brand new. My wifes ring needed a diamond replaced and Saxons not only put a diamond in, but put in new posts for all the diamonds in the ring. The work was excellent on both rings. I highly recommend Saxon Jewlers for your jewelry needs.
