PETLAND HEATH IS TERRIBLE.... We pruchased a dog we were told was docile,friendly, and got along with other dogs. It had flea dirt on it, which was confirmed by the vet, and agressive, biting and chewing at everything we own. This dog had been in a kennel for so long that is could not even got to the bathroom outside, instead peeing and pooping in its kennel, and laying in it. Don, Mike, and Cindy were very unprofessional and rude when we tried to return the dog after taking it ti the vet 2 business days after purchasing it. Cindy hung up phone 3 times on me, and wanted me to return the dog with no credit or refund, so they could resell it. This is a shame that people operate a business that way, and hope when you purchase a loved one for your family, that you take this into consideration. DON, AND OWNERS CINDY AND MIKE BIRCHER, of which we talked to each one of you, you should be ashamed of yourselves, and you are a black eye on the community of Heath,

Ok these reviews need to stop. they do not accurately portray this store. Ive been to this place many times and its a wonderful store. 1. The Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great personalities and they actually seem to enjoy their jobs which make it that much nicer to shop there. 2. Pricing on everything that Ive bought from there is a decent price. aquariums, hamster cages, hamster, materials/food for my daughters snake etc etc... 3. There is this loud freaking bird though. gawd this bird.....every time I come in I hope someone bought the thing. over all excellent store. will do business again IF YOU CHECK THE REVIEWS GIVEN FROM THE INSIDER PAGES THEY ARE THE SAME FOR EVERY STORE THROUGH OUT OHIO. trust me Ive checked.

This facility has mice and rats that are extremely overpriced, considering they are a ridiculously small size. Its $3 for a mouse the size of a quarter, or $5 for a "small rat" smaller than the average mouse you would buy other places. An even more serious problem is that the small rat I bought here had mites. They are dangerous to a snakes health, and are extremely hard to get rid of. I went here to avoid the detour to my normal petstore on 21st street, and Ill never make that mistake again.

DO NOT EVERY BUY ANY ANIMALS FROM PETLAND AT ANY LOCATION. THEY SUPPORT PUPPY MILL BREEDERS AND FORCE THE ANIMALS TO LIVE IN DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS. THE WORST OFFENDING LOCATION IS IN LEWIS CENTER. ADOPT A PET OR FIND A GOOD BREEDER. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!! If you are like me and felt overwhelmed to SAVE one of the pets in the store please do know most likely it will need a lot of medical attention the first year of its life. They all deserve a chance.

Love my new Yorkie puppy I got from there two days ago hes so sweet and playful happy and healthy the price was a little higher then I wanted but for a healthy happy puppy its definitely worth it! And their financing options are extremely affordable!! Would definitely recommend them!! And my puppy is doing really good at potty training has had no accidents in his cage and only a couple in the house

Prices are a bit on the steep side when compared to other pet stores in the area however the staff and customer service are well worth the five-star rating ans store manager Hope Gregory is highly motivated in improving her store, community and helping the local non-profit animal rescues in the area

The dog I purchased has Kennel Cough and has spread it to my other dog who is very very sick. Also its costing a lot more money trying to get them well which has not happened yet. My older dog is coughing day and night. I am worried it may kill her.

Every puppy that is bought from Petland forces another puppy mill mom living in horrible conditions to give birth once again. You are not saving the puppies. You are forcing the mom to produce more product.

Staff is very friendly and always asks if you need help. Prices are a little steep on many items and there is a limited amount of cat food, especially kitten food to choose from.

Healthy pets, good selection, affordable animals. Though the small animal cage sizes need to be upped, the guinea pig starter sets are not appropriately sized!
