I was really impressed the first time I went in the store. I purchased a starter kit while the equipment I had been using for a year worked perfectly fine. I immediately had trouble with their proprietary tank leaking. To make a long story short, after five trips back and three replacement tanks to correct the CHRONICALLY leaking tank, they finally agreed to accept a return. However, they would only return the tank and not the tank AND battery pack. “Store policy” the person said. I politely disagreed with the store policy. So they would only return the tank, and now I’m stuck with the battery component that is absolutely useless to me. “It works fine” the employee says. “Well that’s great, but it does me no good. I’m not going to buy another tank from you as three did not work and leaked excessively. Your store sold me a product that doesn’t work, and I’d like to return it all.” Just like everyone, I shop and occasionally return items. I’ve never had this type of problem. If you bought a table and chair set, and a chair breaks, is the retailer only going to accept a return for the chairs and make you keep the table? If you buy a new TV, and the remote control breaks, is the retailer going to accept a return for the remote control and make you keep the TV? No, they’d probably give you a new TV too. If you go to a restaurant, and they mess up your order, the restaurant will most likely comp you meal AND bring you dessert. If this transaction took place on eBay, eBay would have refunded my money no questions asked. What happened to the customer is always right? The employees were friendly with the exception of the older gentlemen. I’d guess he was in his late 30s or 40s and balding. I spoke with him once to resolve the leaking issue and he was the one to finally agree to accept a return for the tank only. He was rude, not personable, and couldn’t give me a good answer other than “store policy.” His face started quivering, and I thought he was going to lose his cool any second. Not only are they losing a customer flush with money that can afford these novelties and luxuries, but they now have a customer that has never reviewed online until this issue arose. If you read this, I’d highly recommend going elsewhere.
