This mall went through some ownership changes in the early 2000s that left it thoroughly confused and impractical. When Westfield bought the mall, they seemed to make a point to do some "pruning" of stores that were less franchised and presentable. They brought in some big names to replace them and at least for the stretch of time that they were in charge, the mall ran reasonably well, though with a healthy dose of pretense. When Westfield sold the mall back, a dilemma occurred. An owner less established than Westfield had little chance of sustaining the plethora of big names then contained within the mall, and the fallback of long-running, respectable non-chain stores had been ousted by Westfield in their homogenizing process. The chain stores that found it profitable to stay did, and the ones that did not either found an empty storefront in their wake, or a new startup business that ranged from incompetent to incredibly shady. The mall still retains a diverse selection of specialty stores, but it is no longer particularly comprehensive. There are no music or game stores within the mall, which instead resorts to a Best Buy which essentially serves as an independent store with a mall back-entrance. There are no book stores, either. Instead, interesting but short-lived niche businesses, such as airbrush parlors, traditional African garment stores, surprisingly barren game trade-in centers, and a variety of womens clothes stores appealing to particular minorities, dot what were once key locations within the mall. The food court struggles to keep consistent staples, such as Dairy Queen, or a pizza or sub place. It has basically become a revolving door at this point, with only a Taco Bell remaining constant. It is not a bad mall, but I often find the extra miles required to get to Great Northern Mall to be more than worth it, in context.

I work at this mall, and I can honestly say its the worst mall to go to. Now it does have a lot of potential it just has idiots running it. Half the stores are vacant. Bathrooms are hardly ever clean. The soap dispensers dont work (except for like 1 or 2). The only reason I come here is because I work here. Other wise I havent been here for fun or on a day off in about 4-5 years. No point at all. The vacancy has to be at least 50% and even after that half the stores suck! I used to love this mall as a kid. Shame to see it go down but I give it a few more years. Maybe. Unless some major changes happen. And theres only 3 places to eat. Shouldnt even call yourselfs a mall. Save the heartache and drive and extra 30 minutes to go to great northern mall. I would rather go to an outdoor mall during a blizzard than come here.

I have gave it three stars because there are plenty of seats where I can sit and people watch all day and its not too loud. But tell me why your tables, bathrooms, and sometimes the floor is always dirty??? I cant never seem to get the toilet to flush right and the soap dispensers are always out of soap. I spilled water (which is the cleanest thing that hit the table in months) on one of the tables and I grabbed a napkin to wipe it up and my napkin is black.

Valiant effort but the writing is on the wall for this mall. The place is still cared for and maintained, there have been real efforts to hid all the vacant storefronts, its kept clean inside and like what others on here have committed on the varies employers are really nice. There was even a movie filmed there over the past couple years I have a lot of founds memories of this mall but its simply not going to survive the next 5 years.

This mall, used to be a great place to go and hang out with friends, and go shopping, and now, its like its abandoned, almost all of the stores are gone, and the stores that are still there, and almost always empty... the bathrooms are never ever clean. Including the family restrooms, where people are supposed to go that possibly have babies, that need changing, and I wouldnt trust those changing tables to lay my baby on.

My friend and I had lunch at Applebees. We shared the sriacha shrimp appetizers which we enjoyed very much I chose the four-cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders, with a side of maple syrup with walnuts. Delicious! My friend had the quesadilla burger, one of her favorites. Our waitress was very attentive throughout the meal. All in all this was one of the best meals we enjoyed in a long long time.

Honestly, the place is dying. It will linger, but its definitely not what it used to be. I remember when it had more shops and all areas were open and lively. Sadly, thats not the way it is anymore. I hope something happens, either it gets bought out and improved, or it starts opening new venue attractions, because its only a matter if time the place closes down and rots away.

Its sad but this mall is dying out. The investors clearly do not care about the quality of stores or the look of their building because it is pretty much run down. Im thankful for the stores that are there and trying to keep the place open but the owners really need to get their act together and try to revamp that place before it becomes another Detroit.

It used to be a really good mall, but over the past few years it has really gone down hill. There arent very many of the chain stores you would expect to find in any other mall, and instead some smaller, sometimes shadier stores have taken their place. I would suggest Great Northern mall or Southpark mall over this one any day.

It is ok the best stores are Sears , j c pennies, best buy. The mall it self is like a ghost town alot of good stores have pulled out. And I hear more are leaving . The food court has 1 to 2 restaurants left. Out of 8 possible restaurants. It is very depressing to see a mall turn into a ghost town.

This mall was a very clean mall and had a nice toddler play area. However it was a kinda small mall for shopping from what im use to. Several stores were either closed or vacant. I thought the glow golf was super cool and I would have loved to seen a book store here and maybe some other shops.

There are not many stores left...it is true. However, the mall is taken care of very well and it is enjoyable to walk around. There is a kids activity area that is clean. There are still many stores to visit in an fully indoor setting. Theres even a fun arcade!

This is a dying mall. Out of 4 anchor stores there are 2 left and one of them is Sears which will probably close soon. The food court is a joke theres only 3 places left to eat. The company that manages the mall obviously couldnt care less.

Mall is clean and bright inside, lots of sky lights. Unfortunately, the mall is small and half empty. Lots of shopping available around the main mall building with strip malls. Would be nice if it could all be torn down and built together.
