They was the only place that had a red wedding dress. It was part of their Disney collection. When I called the 1st time to ask if they had the dress was told was told they had one in my size. So I was super excited for my appointment. I also took my bridesmaids to search for bridesmaids dresses as well. After the bridesmaids were done we were all I excited but was let down soon once we were told they had the dress I wanted but it was in white. Ok thats fine I tried it and loved it. So a couple weeks later me and my groom bring in our flower girls to try on dresses. While we were waiting for a fitting room one of the associates come over and starts talking to me about my dress. My fiancé had no idea my dress was red so I introduced him to the sales girl hoping she would get the hint and be quiet. Nope she didnt she proceeds to say " oh I was so excited when I heard you picked the red snw white dress,". Omg my mouth dropped I could have strangled her. I hurried up and tried to change the subject but the damage was done. That was the 2nd incident that I had a issue with. The 3rd was when I bought my dress I was told my bridesmaid would get 20$ off of their bridesmaid dresses. OK thats a OK deal. So we was told in order for the dresses to he ordered they had to at least put down a certain percentage. Which is understandable. Then a employee of theirs leaves a voicail saying they was have a sale and that if my girls called in and finished paying thier dresses off they would gwt a additional 20% off. So I a couple of them called in to pay and was told something completely different then what was left on my VM. The 20% cancelled out their $20 off. Now what sense does that make when 20% is less then the 20$. A couple of them did not figure it out til they hung up the phone. 4th incident, So a couple months go buy and we hadnt heard anything about any of the dresses so we contact them to see when they would be in and was informed that they have not been ordered yet. My wedding is in 4 months and it takes 8-12 weeks to get there. Omg plus they needed fitted still. I was freaking out. But there was nothing I could do but wait. 5th. So my dress comes in. Im so excited to go try it on and get fitted so I set a appointment thinking I would get to meet with a seamstress. Since I do work and had to req time off to make it during their business hours. I get there to pick up my dress theres no one there to help me get in my dress. Theres not a seamstress available for me to talk to. When I asked what was the point of the appointment if there was nopne to help me? Was told by the snotty employee just to pick up your dress! Wtf I waited 6months for my dress to come in. It didnt even come close to my measurements they took. The dress was 4 sizes to big and looked nothing like the dress I tried on. Needless to say after the crappy customer service I took my dress to a private seamstress. And she was apolled by how big the dress was on me even after they measured me and took them 6 months to get it to me. It was if it came straight from the warehouse. It was not made for me. I was very disappointed in the service we received after all the money we spent there. I would never recommend this boutique to any of my fellow brides. I have a best friend getting married next June and a rep from Alfreds contacted her and she said oh no not after the service and treatment my bff received. They did not make me feel special in any way. And added more stress. On a good note after my seamstress practically remade my dress to fit me. It turned out beautiful. Good luck

I had been going to this store for over a year trying on dresses. As a plus size bride, it is often hard for me to feel comfortable in dresses and most of them I hated. However, I finally found THE dress. I had been working with Karen, who understood my self-esteem issues and was super pleasant to work with. I tried on the newest Ariel dress in size 18. I was so excited when it laced all the way up. The only issue was that it didnt quite pull down ALL the way over my hips. I had two bridesmaids with me and everyone loved it, even Karen. Not having the money at the time, I came back about a month or so later to order the dress and the two bridesmaids dresses with the girls who were previously with me. Karen wasnt in, instead the *ahem* manager, Pam, was. She made us feel like we were such a hassle to her because we didnt make an appointment to come in and order our dresses. There was only one bride in the store and she was with one of TWO other consultants there, so Pam definitely had time to deal with us. Pam informs me that my measurements arent on file and that she needed to remeasure me. After her measurements, she told me that I would need a size 30 PLUS an extra yard of fabric to "take the dress out". I was floored and so were my bridesmaids. I told her how well the 18 fit me and she ARGUED with me, saying "it would never fit you" and "you must have the wrong dress". I even SHOWED her the picture of me wearing the dress and she still said "absolutely not". She humiliated me to tears in front of the other bride and everyone else working. My two bridesmaids even tried to reason with her about how well the 18 fit. She then suggested we had the wrong dress entirely and told me I should find a DIFFERENT dress. It took me over a year to find that one, I had the money, and I was NOT going to continue to look. In the end, Pam still MADE me order the 30 and told me she would not order me any other size. Also, one of my bridesmaids said she needed a 10 but Pam ordered her a 12. I think this lady must be sick in the head because it seems she gets some sort of enjoyment out of torturing people. I emailed corporate, was informed to call the District Manager (whom I still havent received a call back from and its been almost a week) and I am simply not satisfied. The alterations alone could potentially RUIN my dress. If you go here, deal with Karen and NO ONE ELSE. Otherwise, this place is a joke.

I found my wedding dress at Alfred Angelo off the rack for a very affordable price. The clerks who helped me in and out of my dress were always nice. However, the store is dirty, especially the carpets, to the point where I didn’t want to go barefoot. Also, I would not recommend their alterations department. When I purchased the dress I was told that the pieces of lace applique on the tulle portion of the skirt could be removed. The clerk said that she helped to do that all the time and it would be no problem. When I asked the seamstress months later she bluntly told me that was impossible because it would leave holes in the dress. From the time I purchased the dress to when I began the alteration process I had gained weight and I told the seamstress as much. She then proceeded to tell me multiple times that “it just has to be let all the way out” before any real alterations could be made. The problem was not the fact that it had to be let out, but that she extremely rude and condescending to me through the whole fitting. I also mentioned that I felt the bust was not fitting me correctly, hoping it could be adjusted in some way, and she completely blew me off and said it looked fine. When my mom saw it several weeks later she brought up the same concern and the seamstress blew us off again. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service I received at that initial fitting and every fitting after. I think the shop as a whole is fine for finding a wedding dress but I would recommend getting it altered elsewhere.
