Not good, first I had a gun shipped to this location which cost $75. They failed to fax over the FFL to EuroOptics so they didnt know where to ship the gun. So I had to go back into the store and after Gander mountain told me to check with EuroOptics. It turns out Gander Mountain never sent the fax and still charged me full price. Then I tried to buy a handgun safe from them and they tried to charge me $315 when the price tag under the box said $179. So the store clerk went back with me and verified it was priced wrong. So they called the manager, who was this heavy set red head lady and she begins to tell me it was marked at $299, I said are you calling me a liar? She said, "Im just telling you what I saw, it said $299". So I said, so your customer service policy here is to call people a liar when its clearly your fault? Im done dealing with this unprofessional store. By the way its also overpriced, the same safe is $215 on Amazon.

Drove about 30 mins to get there around 20 after 8pm. I was taking my daughter there to get some arrows for her bow as well as for myself. The girl at the counter asked if we needed archery services as my daughters bow was in my hand. Of course we said yes, and she said the bow tech left at 8pm. There was nobody to cut arrows to length or adjust her bow in the store that is open till 9:30?...this is also the day before archery deer season opens here in ohio. So you send your tech home at 8 when the store is open till 9:30? Really? Then this tops it off... the girl at the front desk/register asked if we needed arrows sharpened?? I will not bother with Gander again.

I called ahead and asked them to put a scope mount aside for me since I live almost 40 minutes away. The clerk said she would put a mount aside, but she didnt. I arrived and asked for the mount, she took me to the isle where they are stocked. Unfortunately, the shelf had been stocked wrong and the clerk had assumed it was correct and therefore they did not have my item. I asked if another store had one and they said yes.I drove another 20 minutes to another store to find that they did not have the correct mount either even though the computer showed 9 in stock. Why dont they physically check their inventory when customers call and ask them to hold items?!

Stood at the gun counter for 20 minutes and no one ever even acknowledged I was standing there. I took a number and stood and waited as 2 guys stood behind the counter talking to one customer and then one played with his pocket knife and a stapler. Then one of the employees looked at me and turned to the other employee and said "well I am taking break" and walked away. I walked out and told the cashier what happened and he said "oh sorry about that." I was looking to buy a high-end scope and bipod for the $2500 gun I purchased from another Gander Mountain recently. I will never be back.

Was better when it first opened, i used to go in a couple of times a month, now everything is packed into store and customer service is nonexistent and everything is way over priced, sales prices can be beat at other stores regular prices. I might go in a couple of times a year and for the last couple of years its in and out wasted time and no purchase. The store is not as organized as it used to be either, its like they just keep trying to put more and more inside the place.

The people at the front are usually very friendly and the store seems to be fairly well laid out. I do think they are overpriced on ammo, and the guns seem to be fairly priced retail wise, but in most situations it will be cheaper to buy some place else due to lack of discounts. When I go to Gander Mountain I tend to see ammo thats $3 per box higher than other places and many times the shelves are bare. Its close to me so gets points for convenience.

I was ready to do some panic buying seeing the temperatures were going down below zero and I deliver newspapers and wanted some warm boots. I was prepared to pay up to $180. I found a great pair of boots on sale for $39.00, by Columbia and were rated 25 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. That boot is comparable to $120. I will be back. Thought they had a great selection.

Theres a lot going on in this store, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Some areas are disorganized and it was harder to find the item I went in for. Nice selection of outdoorsy things (canoes, fishing poles, etc.). We looked around for a long time, but only purchased what we came in for. Some clearance items looked appealing at a great price as well!

Over all a great experience if you get the right staff member. Im a repeat customer, for the most part everyone is great. Last visit an inexperienced employee was rude and wasted my time. Apparently, he dislikes women and assumed I had no knowledge of firearms! The manager took care of the issue. Will return... but wont deal with that rude kid again.

Gander has a great fishing gear section with knowledgeable staff. They can point you in the right direction for all of your needs. The new gun counter still has its issues, like trying to get service. Sometimes you will be waiting for awhile, but most of the time it is quick. The rest of the store is laid out nicely and is clean. The pricing is fair.

I hadnt been to a Gander Mountain in years before this trip, and wow has this store changed! If you havent been in a while, check it out. I might never go back to Cabelas!

Nice store and good service but a friend bought a used Sigma 9mm for $300.00 there. I told him theyre $300-350 brand new. What a rip off price for a used pistol!
