A copy of the email sent to the corporate, with now answer after 10 days wait!! Dear sir/Madam, I purchased a mattress from VCF in 2012 and and recently I called for a tech evaluation as the mattress was sinking in. The evaluation came back as I am eligible for a replacement and I went to the store in BrookPark rd (Cleveland, Ohio) where I originally bought the mattress from. They were very friendly and the sales man helped me to find the right mattress. I was told that I have a store credit of $1836 which was the full price of the mattress that I bought. My wife and myself spent a few hours shopping based on the credit we were given and when it was the time to pay for everything, we were told that the representative made a mistake and the store credit is only for $ 1199 (plus tax) which is the price for the mattress not including the mattress box which was $468. I was not happy but did not make a big deal about it. I told them to hold the order and I will come back, and I did, and before I walk into the store I explained everything to the saleswoman (Patty) who was awesome by the way, and she said she will help me with my shopping needs. I decided not to use the store credit for a mattress purchase but to use it to buy a sofa instead, and I was told this was OK. At the cashier, I was told otherwise, that I can not use the store credit for anything but a mattress! I asked, what if I want to buy a mattress that costs $900, how am I suppose the rest of the store credit, I was told that it has to be directed toward purchasing mattress and mattress only! I rest my case at this point, and loudly say that whoever is responsible for this policy should be terminated. I do not need to say how very unprofessional the store manager was when he threatened me that if I use the store credit for other purchases (than a mattress) that it is fraud! I can not imagine where he got the audacity to say this!

Regardless of the sales peoples attitude (of course they will be polite and wonderful, they want the commission) they all wait at the front door and come at you like vultures which is very uncomfortable and inappropriate behavior in my opinion. The product quality is very poor, I bought two living room sets, one was a sectional and the other a sofa and loveseat, I also bought a dining room table and upholstered chair set; I also made sure to buy the extended warranty just in case. The quality of the furniture is just trash, poorly constructed and a common issue I noticed is spitting at the seams. If you intend to entertain a lot think twice because after so much sitting on the sofas will flatten the cushion and its impossible to get the shape back, so your couch looks cheap and wonky. The back of our couch is done in a faux leather and it is ripping away from the staples used to hold it on. I took advantage of the warranty and the literally came out and did nothing. The whole "if we cant fix it we will replace it" is an absolute lie. Before we bought the dining room table I had asked if it was scratch resistant and without any hesitation I was told it was scratch resistant....within the first maybe two months of having it there were a ton of scratches and scuffs. I am very easy on my furniture and take good care of it so it lasts, but furniture from this company just doesnt last and is not worth the price. The items I purchased were on the more expensive side, my line of thinking was, the more expensive the better the quality... dont waste your money, you are honestly just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Worst customer service! I scheduled to have my furniture delivered and they forgot to load the slats to my bed on the delivery truck. Its hard to sleep in a bed with no slats. I was told that they would be delivered that night or the next day. However, when I did not receive them again I had to call 4 different times in order to get a straight answer from the manager that they would be delivered the next day. When I said that I was just going to come and pick them up myself the manager asked me, "Do you even know how to put them together?" This store is the worst representation of customer service and reliability. I understand that mistakes happen, but when they do you work to fix them and make the customer happy, thats business 101. Not insult the customer or fall through with delivering items already bought and paid a delivery fee for! I am so disappointed and will never go back to this store and will be contacting their district manager.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE . WHEN THEY TELL U THEY HAVE THE ITEM ON STOCK THEN YOU GO AND PICK IT UP ,NOT ONCE I GOT A CALL FROM THEM TO TELL ME THAT THE HEADBOARD IS BEING PUSHED , WHICH IT MEANS I CANT PUT MY KIDS BED TOGETHER WITH OUT IT ,THE BEDROOM SET MIRROW WAS DEFECTIVE TOOK IT BACK WHY I GO PICK UP THE SO CALL NEW ONE THEY GAVE ME BACK THE SAME ONE I GAVE THEM THAT WAS DAMAGED . DECIDE IM ALREADY WAITTING FOR THE CHEST TILL MAY .HOW DARE THEM SEND ME A PART OF A SECOND BEDRROM SET ALREADY OPEN NOT IN A BOX AND SCRATCHES EVERYWHERE, SO KNOW I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH FOR THAT PART OF THE BEDROOM SET .I ORDER A LIVING ROOM SET THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO DE DELIVERED SOMETIMETHIS WEEK . BUT GUESS WHAT IT GOT TO WAIT CAUSE THEY DONT HAVE IT .MIND U I SPEND 6,000 DOLLARS IN THIS STORE . SPOKE TO A NICK PERRY NOT PROFECIONAL AT ALL. DONT BELIEVE WHEN THEY TELL U THE ITEM ARE IN STOCK .

For Short: Salesmen Charlotte Man opened a value city furniture credit card without my consent. Managers shrugged there shoulders at the issue and told me to call corporate. I immediately asked Charlotte to cancel the credit card. She then called the cancellation number and acted like they could not hear her. I made her call back on speaker phone where it prompted her to press buttons before even talking to a human. Her first call when "they did not hear her", she did not press a single button. When I tried speaking to the associate trying to cancel the credit card on the phone, she quickly picked up the phone and hung it up. This even was caught on camera and legal action is being taken and a police report is being filed.

Do not waste your time or money! Went to the store on Brookpark and had to ask someone to wait on me after being there for half an hour. Should have left then. Was told the kids beds I picked out wouldnt be in stock for another month but if put a deposit down that day I could receive the sale price so I said I could wait, no problem. A few days before the delivery date, got a call saying the rails werent in stock, I would have to wait another week and a half for everything to come at once. Delivery just got here and they are missing one of the beds!!! I want to say its unbelievable but if I had given more thought to the reviews I read before I went there.....
