Its a rare week when we dont let Shaker Heights Hardware solve a problem for us (90 year old house) or just drop in to buy that one item you need for your home or garden. The people who work there are really grand folks -- help you UPS a package, fix a widget, or find just the right thing to deal with the pesky critters who are munching your garden. Its a neighborhood gem and we are lucky to have the Gibson family business nearby. For my husband, a week without SHH is like a week without sunshine.

This is exaclty what you want in a hardware store. Bring in your broken thing with all the pieces, spill it out on the counte,r and theyll happily help you get it working again. Need advice on any number of things for making your home or yard better? Theyve got just the thing. And if they dont, theres always a recommendation they can make. Ive been a customer for 10 years and its always the first stop for me when I need something.

I just called for some bleach and I needed 20 gallons. The salesman did not know the price or how much they had. Then I was transfered to another guy who I had to explain it all over again. The he did find the price which was way high even for bleach. If I can help it I will not visit them again or the store. Thumbs down !!
