So I have a good story, and a bad story. I went to the Cleveland location to get my nose pierced and it was an awesome experience. I cant remember the guys name, but he had longer hair, a backwards hat and glasses and was extremely friendly and talkative. It healed so fast, about 2 weeks, and the only pain I really felt was right when he was piercing it. But it was so fast it was fine. Fast forward two weeks and my mom decided she wanted to get hers pierced. We went back and she asked for the same guy, but we were told he wasnt piercing that day, although he was there. The manager assured her that he had trained that piercer and hed be happy to do it for her. A few minutes later though, someone came in and wanted gauges in his ears, so the manager told us that there was another guy with 15 years of experience who could pierce her. She was hesitant, but went ahead based on the managers words, "You can punch me in the face if anything goes wrong!". We go back to the guys room and he was so unfriendly. He seemed in a hurry and not talkative at all. They all knew how nervous my mom was, and you would think hed try to make it a positive experience for her. He pierced her nose, which was fine, but then when he went to insert the ring, he pulled the needle out too soon. He then proceeded to push and pull and grind the ring into my moms nose, trying to locate the bottom of the hole. After a minute I asked him to stop because my mom was clearly in a lot of pain. Annoyed, and not saying much, the guy goes and gets a smaller ring. My mom says he gets one more chance and then thats it. He tries yet again, in a hurried, agitated way to shove the nose ring back in. Blood was streaming out of her nose and she was clearly in a ton of pain. We told him to stop and he got even more irritated and asked if he could pierce it again. We said no and demanded a refund. He rudely walked back out front, got the cash out of the register, and said "Here you go, have a great day ladies". No sorry, nothing. The manager of course was nowhere to be found. We then went out to Body Revolution in Brunswick later that day and a guy named Keith pierced my moms nose with no problem in less than a minute. I highly recommend if you are looking for a piercing to either ask for him in Brunswick, or if you do go to Cleveland make sure its the guy with the longer hair and glasses who usually wears a backwards cap.

I would give it a 3 for overall but the customer service is completely ridiculous. I went to get a piercing back in May and it took them like an hour and a half to call me. They did let me pick the ring I wanted but it only seemed fair after having me wait for so long and then to call other customers with the same orders as me before me makes no sense. I waited an hour and a half for something that took 2 mins. Meanwhile Ive been trying to donate plasma and in order to do so (after just have had a piercing or tattoo) you need to go to the establishment you got the piercing from and get the proper papers signed saying that this establishment is clean (Body Rev. Cleveland site) other wise you have to wait a year to donate. I took these papers to them to sign back in December I even gave them the satisfaction and waited even a good 2 weeks for them to get situated since they had to get copies of those documents (clean establishment etc.) from "headquarters" or something-- the big Body Rev. I called and they have no idea what Im even talking about. I refuse to call again its been going on 4 months. Im the customer I will not keep asking for your service you just lose mine. You are not doing me a favor I am doing you a favor. They are either lazy or dont have proof of a clean establishment. Either go they lost my business. Im not blowing down on all the staff because the women were kind to me but all of them could learn how to communicate with each other so they know whats going on in their work space. Come on!

Now, I personally gave this place a 4 star rating but there were some little cons to my experience. Pros: The place is obviously very clean and is covered in artwork by the tattoo artists, which is always a plus. All of the staff is very friendly to all of the customers and are great at answering questions. They have a wide variety of jewelry to pick out for many types of piercings and also sell aftercare kits for piercings and tattoos. For the quality of work that you get, they are very decently priced. Cons: I went in the other day to get my nostril repierced. The girl who did my piercing was very friendly and professional (used gloves, opened new needles in front of me, cleaned equipment in front of me, answered all questions) but she was obviously pretty new. When she stuck the needle in my nostril, she couldnt quite get it through the other side so she had to twist the needle and push really hard, which hurt A LOT. She apologized for the issue and gave me an alcohol pad to put on it and helped to clean up the little bit of blood, which I thought was a great thing on her part. I understand that especially in her profession, you need practice and some people need to be guinea pigs but that doesnt change the fact that she did screw up a bit and put a customer through some unnecessary pain. Luckily I dont really care about that as much and I dont mind being someones practice dummy but if YOU do, be sure to ask for someone who is experienced.

Dont ever get a piercing here. I went in to get my tragus earring changed. I hadnt had an earring in it for a few weeks but Ive had the piercing for almost 10 years. The lady claimed she could not get the new earring in and would have to RE-PIERCE it. Sounded a little strange but you go somewhere thinking they know what theyre doing. She put a huge, bulky earring in and told me I had to come back there in 6 weeks to get it changed...yea right. The earring change would have been $5 and the "Re-pierce" was $20. So later I find out she endangered my health for $15 and a tip. A few weeks later I went to Stranci where she fixed me right up. First of all when they pierce you its with a hollow needle so that cartilage is GONE. Now I have two holes in the back of my tragus thanks to either ignorance or greed. Also the earring she "re-pierced" me with was the size of a belly button ring not suitable for a tragus, it looked bulky and horrible. The place didnt seem cleanly at all. I never want anyones business to fail, but the quality of work and care is just not here. Hope they make some serious changes to stay in business.
