A good friend of mine had passed away and since she was from Cincinnati, her funeral had taken place there. Being from California, I really didnt know what to expect from Florists in Ohio. I googled "florists" in Cincinnati and had found Robin Wood Flowers. They had high reviews, and so I thought they could serve me well. I called them up and the representative was very friendly, she offered her condolences and told me the price of everything would be $75. There was no mention of delivery fees, taxes so I assumed it was included in the $75. i asked her if she could send me a picture of the arrangement and she agreed. When I got a picture of the arrangement, it was pricier then California but thats to be expected, especially since we have fields of flowers here. Fast forward a few days later and the credit card did not go through because the representative had wrote it down wrong. After giving them the correct numbers, I asked her if she could tell me the price again. The price had jumped up to $93. I asked her what the extra $18 was for and she said taxes and delivery. When I told her that I was not told of any additional fees, she told me shed get a manager to contact me. The manager was very rude, tried to explained to me what sales tax was, interrupted me several times and during the whole conversation she talked down to me. She told me it was illegal for me to not pay sales tax and it "was a given" that Id have to pay a delivery fee. Ive ordered flowers before and they usually just add that into the price they gave me. Like I stated above, there was no mention of any additional fees. I have no problems paying the fees but because they were so sneaky about it and were not helpful at all, I refused to pay. She finally told me they would "eat" the costs of delivery but as a small business and a premier florist of Cincinnati, she would not pay the sales tax. I let her know Id talk to my bank about this. I would definitely not recommend this florist to anybody.

What can we say about Robin and her team? She was easily the single best decision we made for the wedding. Robin has seen it all and, if you listen, she will dispense more wisdom and helpful advice than any other source you will find. A 10-minute conversation with Robin and her team saved us roughly a week of back and forth with other vendors and, quite possibly, minor disappointment on the day of the wedding. On top of this, the product Robin and her team delivers is extraordinary. Yet another great decision on our part was letting Robin’s team do what they do best. Early on, we had a basic concept and we discussed colors, but asked Robin to make each table unique. Our thought was they are the artists and we are not. We had 14 total tables and guests were floored with the flowers. Many went from table to table taking photos because, while there was a theme, there wasn’t monotony. Some tables were lush and overflowing; others were simple and elegant; but every table was a work of art. We were surprised and delighted when we saw the completed room for the first time on the day of the wedding. And, if that isn’t enough, every single person we encountered on Robin’s team was a delight beginning with Robin herself. We had a problem with our venue and didn’t get the final room layout until a few days before the wedding. The room was going to require more flowers than initially anticipated. Robin rolled with that change, but every single punch we threw her way in those final days leading up to the ceremony and there was no loss of quality. Even now, over two months after the wedding, guests are still talking about the flowers as the best they have seen. Quite frankly, we will never be able to thank her enough.

Since we would not be able to celebrate Mothers Day in-person this year, I wanted to send my mom a really beautiful floral arrangement. Trying to do that long-distance proved challenging since each service seemed to be lacking in quality and creativity--until I found Robin Wood Flowers. Not only are their floral arrangements simply stunning (I know this based on their portfolio AND the pictures my mother immediately sent me of her arrangement when they arrived) but their customer service was unmatched by any other florist I spoke with. They personalize each arrangement (no mass production here!) which helped me to feel like the flowers I was sending my mom were a more personal gift. I knew a lot of time and care was going into this and that meant a lot to me. I can be quite a perfectionist (very detail-oriented) but after seeing the arrangements on Robin Woods website, I felt confident just telling them some of the flowers that I wanted to be sure made an appearance, and the rest was up to them. Not only did they meet my high expectations, but they truly surpassed them. Dealing with Robin Wood Flowers was a joy and I would recommend them HIGHLY to anyone. I really wanted to send my mom something special, and they accomplished that with their uniquely beautiful floral arrangement.

Kudos to the design and ordering staff at Robin Wood Flowers! Lately I have sent several arrangements to hospitals, and I can say that in every case when I went to visit, the Robin Wood flowers were the arrangements that really stood out above the rest. I was so delighted with the color, variety, and unusualness of the flowers! I heard back later from my friends that the flowers has lasted for such a long time after they took them home. Ordering flowers is totally based on trust since you usually never get to see what actuallly shows up. In every case I felt I received more value than I spent! I found the ordering quick and easy, with lots of attention paid to the thought I wanted to convey to my friends, and I was able to stay in my budget. How great to have a florist you can trust for beautiful arrangements, easy ordering, great value, and on time delivery! Best in Cincy!

I received two flower arrangements from two different florists this month, and the difference between them was shocking. The first arrived from a well-known, highly regarded Cincinnati florist. It consisted of a large vase stuffed randomly with cheap flowers (including dyed carnations) and filler. I was stunned at the lack of attention to design, the crazy array of colors and the overall unprofessional presentation. It lasted about 5 days before I pitched the whole mess. The second arrangement came from Robin Wood Flowers. The flowers were fresh and high-quality, and the design was breathtaking in its creativity and professionalism. I have had it on my dining room table for over a week and have done nothing except water it once. It still looks as beautiful as it did on the day it arrived. If you really want to send the very best, this is the florist for you.

Robin did the flowers for our wedding September 20, 2014. We held an outdoor ceremony on a beautiful end-of-summer day. Robins flowers for the outdoor ceremony were only matched in their beauty and elegance by the incredible centerpieces she designed and placed on the dinner tables, and in the cocktail area. Her arrangements were beautiful beyond description! We cannot thank her enough for all that she did. Her service extended to coming to each member of the wedding party while they finished getting ready, and helping with all the little details. Her personal service, attention to detail, and willingness to be sure everything was absolutely right made a world of difference. Any praise we offer for her and her staff pales compared to what she has done for us.
