The only clothes mentor I have shopped at is the one on Beachmont. I love that their prices are decent for secondhand clothes. But when it comes to selling items here, I think it is just absolutely ridiculous! I have sold some items here, and the past couple of times I have gone in they have told me that the items were "teenage" for them. I am 26 years old, I dont wear items that are "teenage" ish. And it makes me really mad every time I take stuff into this store and that is the response I get for why they wont take my items! Most of the clothing items I take to them are from the womens sections at Old Navy and JCPennys. Last time I checked... those werent "teenager" sections. The pricing is another thing that makes me very upset. I took in 8 or 9 different sweaters and tops the last time I was there. They took 3, they were clothing items that I got for Christmas that didnt fit me right. And for those 3 sweaters I got $8. Im sure they were way more expensive than that, I think that this needs to change. If this store is going to take my items for $2.66 and then turn around and sell it for anywhere between $10-18, I am the one getting ripped off. I will no longer sell my clothes here. I will take them to the Good Will, or find someone else to take them. Sorry if people read this review and think Im just being stuck up or whatever, but Im just tired of companies like this doing this to people. Simple: if I get $2.66 for a sweater that retails at $25, then I should be the one getting $10-18 for it!

Why dont you just tell ladies that you will only take name brand clothing. I came in again with 39 blouses sizes 1x-3X some still had the tags on them, others had never been worn as I have lost weight and they are too big. Very nice things, 9 pair of shoes, 4 pair were new, Skechers, 2 pair, others were heels but not 4 inch. They purchased 9 blouses, Liz Claiborne, Style & Co. , the 1 pair of shoes I took out of the box before going, tags on them. So 9 blouses out of 39, 1 pair of shoes out of 9. I got $19.60 what a bargain for your store, I had folded all of them like from a store, as they came out of my closet, when they gave them back they were stuffed or rolled into the bags. This is not the first time I have taken clothes there but I did again today, but I wont again, last time you got 3 pair of leather boots, all worn 1 time, and 2 London Fog coats, zip in zip out linings, with the tags on them from Pennys, $225.00 each. I got I believe $19.75. You steal the nice clothing, you only will buy the name brands, not the other ones, that I buy online from companys not around Cincinnati, and they are not cheap clothing. If I start a store in this area, I will give the women a decent price for their items, so I got $1.96 per item today. Do you know that you can get more for them at garage sales!! Just a very sad store!!!

I love this store but I just had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Im sure the women working there dont get paid much so I can understand them being grumpy. Whatever you do, dont expect anything more than the minimum amount of care and service. I expected to be able to keep a nice dress on the hanger so that it didnt get wrinkled folded up in the bag in my car for several hours before I got home. I was told no. When I pointed out the amount of time and money I spend in the store the lady says, "Congratulations, you are loyal." Sarcastic and snarky. My fault for expecting to be treated well for being a "loyal" customer.

This store is awesome! They always have a great selection of items. The ladies are all so friendly at least every single time I go in they are. They go through your items with care and actually take the time deciding if items may sell or not. I really enjoy shopping and selling here. Great prices, great selection.

I love this place. The selection is great and the staff are very friendly. Also, even though the clothes are used, it doesnt feel like a second hand store inside. Ive bought almost all my clothes there in the last 6 months and I get compliments on them all of the time. I highly recommend it.

I couldnt even go into the store because The fragrance use was so extreme it was a toxic mess. Gave me a headache just standing outside smelling it from the door opening. Not good for anyone suffering from environmental illnesses like MCS.

After my experience yesterday at the Anderson location I will not be back there again. I love Clothes Mentor selection & prices (when rang correctly) but I will be shopping elsewhere. Shoppers beware.
