Its a really neat layout for an outlet center. It apparently has a property owner that really loves their trains. I love trains too, which is what lured me in having seen it as I was zipping through the area along the highway, and am an avid window shopper. The layout is stupendous for having it weave in and around the strips of storefronts. Unfortunately like several other outlet centers across the US theyve been hit with hard times for probably almost a decade. Theyve got quite a bit of empty stores. If they could come up with low rent leases for the vendors, and when times are tough like this offer to just charge low low rent and charge a certain percentage on their profits until things improve to a certain range, they could possibly get in/keep many more stores for a lot longer time. But when even the large chain stores cant even stay (and theyre the ones that usually stick around a lot longer than individual store owners), its a sign of something seriously going wrong for the area. Like I said, the layout is neat with the trains, but to give this shopping center A LOT more curb appeal Id like to offer a few suggestions. First of course is to get in a number of new vendors to fill in a number more of the storefronts. Having many empty storefronts is somewhat uninviting. Try and reach out to your community area within say maybe a 50 mile radius. Help small business owners get a more centralized area to gathet in. Plus you might also consider creating a big section of storefronts into one large antique/craft shops, where you lease out small sections of shelf/wall space for a small modest fee per month. It can sometimes take a bit if time to fill in the little spaces, and a bit of work tracking down many little vendors of antiques/crafts, but if its laid out nicely and the vendors display their wares decoratively, it can come out quite wonderful. There are some fairly successful shops (some fairly big) like this Ive been coming across in my travels across the US (especially the east coast/northeast). Maybe even luring in a big vendor or two of model train supplies couldnt hurt either (hint hint). Another thing Id like to suggest is considerably more landscaping. More specifically to spread out A LOT of trees and shrubbery close to the stores as well as lines if trees/shrubbery around the extremities of your property. This will help tremendously in curb appeal, as it will block off some of the fairly flat plain areas around your area, and give it a more warm homey feel. Then also using a bit of LED light strings in some areas (even year round with plain lights, and not just Christmas). Plus I think you could use a bit of repaving of some of your lot which couldnt hurt either. Heres hoping you can turn what appears to be a decent shopping center around and bring it into a wonderful attraction.

This is an amazing outlet to bring kids to! They have the most enjoyable train ride for kids that goes around the outlet twice and then twice around the parking lots - all for a great price! This is a must-visit outlet for kids who love trains! Otherwise, the outlet is decent, lots of shops are gone but the good ones are still there and its easy to do the whole thing in a couple hours. It needs updating and maybe some better shops to be added but overall it is highly recommended. Enjoy!

This place is a great outlet shopping experience. They have lots of stores, so come prepared to walk a lot. The food court has a great selection of places - from Chinese to ice cream. There is even a train that is great for younger visitors. Its an easy stop right off of 71 and an excellent destination for back to school or holiday shopping. They even offer events through the year like a pumpkin picking field and a train ride with Santa.

I highly recommend Second Sole!!! We use them for our cross-country/track daughter. But when it comes to tax-free weekend, STAY OUT OF UNDER ARMOUR!!! The line wrapped around the inside of the store, which made it rather difficult to look for clothes, as well as wait for an hour to check out (which we dropped our pickings on the closest rack and went to Adidas instead).

I found it very unique that there is a little train that runs through the mall. Anyone can take rides. Disappointing though that the mall itself has little shops and a lot of stores are empty. I would have never thought the mall was even there if it wasnt for me looking it up as well as address. Needs more stores and better publicity and a fresh coat of paint.

Love the great sales all the stores have and I spend my Christmas money here every year, but we always seem to run out of time. It would be nice if your were open until 10:00 or 11:00 other than just on specific weeks or days. Great shopping place though love Adidas, Rack Room shoes, Vf, AE, aeropostale, Eddie Bauer, Bath&Body and etc.

There wasnt that many stores. Sign said 60..my haha more like 20. Dont wear bright colored pants or have purple in your hair unless you want followed around like a crook in every store. There were quite a few stores I walked out of without buying anything because I was made to feel uncomfortable. Never judge a book by its cover.

The train ride is always a surefire way to brighten our 3-year-olds day. However, as a shopping center the outlet mall struggles. A high concentration of empty storefronts and a lot of the outlet "deals" you find arent any better or different than what youll find on clearance at your local department store.

We take our daughter here every year on her birthday because they let her drive the train for free on her birthday. She thinks its the coolest thing. Stores are awesome and prices are good always have sales going on. Adidas has a once a year tent sale in the parking lot and the prices are so cheap!

We missed the train ride, yes if its noisy you could make it a little more even and avoid the bumps. We loved the sale event at Underarm, Aeropostale, AE, Vf!!!. It was worth the trip with little time left we could do only these shop visits. Next time itll be more!!

Sadly, it seems this once booming place is now dying, (online shopping is most likely to blame). Half the mall is filled with "coming soon signs" and most of the big name stores that used to be there are gone. It is still a fun time shopping here though!

Do NOT come to this location for the Motherhood Maternity store. Rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional employees (one two occasions now.) I regret ever spending time or money at the store and will never use the brand again, either. Disappointing.

We got a ton of great deals at the childrens places. But the actual outlet mall as a whole, is just a shell of its once vibrant self. I would go as far as saying that 75% of the stores are empty and it looks like more are getting ready to close.

Almost empty. Most the stores have left. And spent 15 mins with my child bawling in my arms. Him and his sister both saved up for a shopping day with there own money... Her stores still here, his toy store isnt... Hour long drive for nothing.
