I am trying to find a new sport coat to help improve my look in a professional office. I am 26 years old, and work as a sheet metal engineer. I walked in with blue jeans and a polo shirt straight from my very casual office atmosphere. I was confronted by an older sale representative named Rich. This sales rep was polite, but overall very condescending and quite frankly rude. I was asking him a few questions when he decided to answer his cell phone while i was talking. He then decided to take it upon himself to sell me a "lower priced" cheap sport coat that was overpriced to begin with. Overall, I feel this sales rep is not doing a good job with younger clients. I would not buy anything from Saks 5th Avenue based on the experience and lack of professionalism from that sales rep.

Unfortunately this is probably the worst Saks Ive ever shopped at. The sales associates are few and far between, the ones actually working. I once went to the bathroom to see all of them sitting in the back watching music videos instead of helping customers. The bathrooms and store were dirty. The staff clearly have very poor management and nobody to hold them accountable. I do not recommend shopping at this Saks at all, buy online or find a different one to go to.

I recently visited the store simply to test out fragrances before making a decision to buy. Expecting to be confronted by snarky associates, wanting only to make a sale, I was pleasantly greeted by Ms. Rhonda. Although she specifically works with one brand, she was kind enough to walk me through the department, introducing me to several different brands and scents. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and plan on being a recurring customer despite living 3 hours away. :)

Im stevo s mother. I went to saks this morning with my daughter and 3 grandchildren looking for a dress for my sons wedding. We walked in there was a group of workers talking and they turned their heads and looked the other way. Then I found a dress we walked towards the dressing room and one of workers yelled from across the store, "thats not a bathroom!". I couldnt believe my ears! We walked out, spent my money at Dillards..Shouldnt even give you one star!

For the successful people among us knows what Saks fifth Avenue house in quality represents. Not going for the name brands its the qualities in the clothing and shoes everything is the best I highly recommend this
