WHO CLOSES OFF THEIR GARDEN CENTER?! Not pleased with this Menards, employees are less than helpful and management is not much better. We have had several occurrences in which you ask for assistance and you get and i dont know or youll have to talk to a manager response. The managers are not any better. I understand this is retail and alot of people are rude, but i promise you i have the utmost respect for retail workers, because i could not do the job. With that said you have no reason to be rude to us if we arent rude to you. Another note: Who closes off the doors to the garden center. It is such an inconvenience now. If it was for shop lifting then get better security or something.

They have fairly good deals on lighting, doors, and windows compared to other chain stores. I dislike the whole rebate deal though. Its kind of a sales gimmick, but if you do make big purchases it helps with buying other things at the store. The more I shop here the more in liking it. The store layout is good, its not hard to find something that youre looking for. If you do need help though its hard to find a sales associate. 95% of the time I have gone there no one has approached me asking if I need help. All in all, its a good store for a DIYer.

Shop here all the time. Went to go buy lumber and was told had to go out side for it. Ok whatever i get that. Bought a car port wad told it was outside. Pay for our stuff and go out to the yard and was told door 19 for lumber and door 15 for car port. Go to door 19 for lumber spent 15 min looking for it and come to find out it was outside on the side wall far away from door 19. Go to door 15 for car port and was told it was inside the store. Horrible expericence and done shopping there. I will take my business to home depot or lowes.

Menards is a great store with products in everything from building to toys to groceries. The staff at this store is remarkably helpful and friendly. Theyre happy to help you not just find a product youre looking for, but help you determine what you need for the project youre working on. Ive had excellent experiences every time Ive visited this store. The prices can be a little on the high side, but theyll give you an 11% rebate on literally everything in the store so it largely balances out if you take advantage of that.

Terrible! We went there to get lights for our new house. No one offered to help us. We mustve wandered around the lighting department for at least 45 minutes, and still no one offered. We had to ask numerous people for help, bigger cart, if we can store them for our builder to pick up, etc etc. No one knew what was going on. Its too bad they had a good selection, otherwise we most definitely wouldve shopped somewhere else.

My wife went to pick up a piece of plywood for a project and a 4x8 sheet would not fit in her SUV. She asked to have it cut and after being pointed to various departments found out that they will not do it for you. Not a huge deal but the lack of anyone willing to actually find an answer was upsetting... Home Depot was more than willing to help. Will take our business elsewhere from now on...

great prices, lots of stuff, terrible service. Waited a the "pro center" desk for 5 minutes. At least 4 employees behind the desk none asked if I needed help 1 was standing by the time clock looking straight a me at least 2 of them walked right by me. My boss would fire me on the spot if I treated our customers that way. Went down the block to Lowes to get what I needed.

This Menards recently re-striped their lot.They missed the opportunity to fix their ultra narrow parking spots. This lot is used by predominantly SUVs and pickups. Yet the parking spots are 1.5 feet narrower than neighboring moorhead Menards. Seeing them restripe it the exact same is just a facepalm move.

Staff is very helpful in pointing you in the right directions and making suggestions. Gentlemen in tools helped me decided exactly which jigsaw I should get by describing the pros and cons of each and asking about the kinds of projects Id be working on. Gave very helpful advice when I asked for it.

They had what I needed, but no customer service that day at that time. One sales person even acted like they didnt hear me, turned and escaped down the isle. I needed particular things that day, and I found those myself. I have had good customer service at this Menards before...

Jordin in Kitchen Cabinet Department is AWESOME! He assisted in designing a new kitchen for my daughter and when they arrived we needed to make adjustments and he understood what we needed and the process was super easy!! Jordan is a ROCK STAR!!!

Wandered around the entire store looking for wood stains and finishes. Lots of employees but none willing to help or offer assistance. Will be going to Home Depot where I can count on a greeting and genuinely good customer service.

I have always used Menards they were the first in town and have more I do have to go to some of the others i town do to the fact they cut wood for you ect..... but Menards has way more product< the are always my first choice

Stacy was a great help to us when picking out a bathroom vanity, counter top, light fixture, towel rods, shower, tile, pretty much the whole bathroom. I dont know what we would have done without her! She made it easy.

I disagree Erik. Ive been to that Menards 100 times and theyve been helpful everytime. Plywood comes in different sizes. Perhaps she should have measured first to see if it would fit in the vehicle.

Its my home away from home. I love going there. Being in business for myself, I go there 4 to 5 times a week because of the friendly atmosphere. Been shopping there for 23 years now.

I am sitting in the barn 20 waiting for someone to move a tower of sheet rock so I can get to the 7 sheets I paid for. This is ridiculous. Customer service sucks!
