Worst customer service ever. I was shopping at the HD at the tollway and Plano parkway looking at vacuum cleaners. The Dyson I wanted was marked down from $599 to $447. They were sold out. An associate in customer named Kieth found me one at the Keller Springs location and called them to have it put at customer pickup. When I went to pick it up a girl at the customer service desk asked for I.D. I showed her and she asked what name it was under. I gave her my name and she said it wasnt in the system. I told her that Keith called them and she asked me what Kieths last name was???Since when do they put their last name on their orange aprons. Anyway she looked in the back and said it wasnt there. I asked her if she could check to see if they had one and she said she didnt know and pointing she told me that appliances was over there and that I could go check myself. After calling corporate the supervisor named Oscar was able to find one for me and put it on hold at another store. I called the store and a young girl named Veronica answered the phone. When the other girl came on the line she said "her" name was Veronica. What a croc of crap. I spent $7000 last year with them....never more.

We discovered our refrigerator had gone out upon returning from out of town the Saturday evening after Christmas. With it being the holidays, it would be several days to have a new refrigerator delivered, so we decided to purchase a discontinued model that was available at the Carrollton Home Depot. Everything was great about our purchase experience, and then came the difficult part of getting it in our kitchen, as delivery doesnt come with the purchase of a floor model. We have a truck, so getting it home wasnt a problem, but getting it off our truck and into our house was. Rich Joffrion was assisting us at the time and offered to take a break to come help us. Rich and Matt Dalton came to our rescue! My husband and I could not have unloaded and gotten it in our house ourselves. These guys were really awesome - they are hard-working, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. They really, really impressed us. We wanted to show our appreciation and tried to give them gratuity, but they would not accept... just asked us to share our experience. A big thank you to Rich and Matt for going over and above. You guys rock!

I bought a chain saw,at my Home Depot... while using it, chain came off,so I sped to my store. Paul was on duty,,he is intelligent and so profesional.,he put the chain back in no time and, I was able to finish my project....another time my sink got stopped up.I bought some products, but they did not do the job,so off I went and, Paul came to the rescue again, told me excactly what product to buy and how to use it most Efficiently....I was so pleased,as it did clear up,just as Paul told.me it would. Paul did this numerous times....he deserves my heartfelt review. Paul is a great esset to your store, and he deserves all the best, and, he respects my time, fixes my problem as fast as he can,and sends me back to my project,in no time. That is not what I can say about all the men that work there....... But this letter is about Paul in rental.....he deserves a ten ! ! Thank you Paul, and thank you Home Depot for having such a. Knowledeable Employee. God bless and keep hiring great people like Paul. Sincerely AvaC Davisa

It is getting to the point where Home Depot is just about like going to Walmart there is a lack of help there either because no one wants to work there because of low pay and they can get more money somewhere else or they see the place as overwhelming because there is a lack of other people to help out. Most of the Home Depots Ive been to lately the employees dont even know much about what youre talking about when youre asking them where to find something. One guy working in the aisle where all the screws are ask me what I was looking for and I told him I needed some 8/32 screws one and a half inches long and he asked me is that a wood screw? An 8/32 screw is a machine screw that is size 8 and has 32 threads per inch.

Leonard was a Godsend!! He was very helpful and nice!!! Getting ready for stressful home repairs... Leonard took me to each section and showed me how to use each item.. He was patient and kind to my children that were present.. Leonard recommended great products and if they were out, he suggested the online site... He also was very knowledgeable about where everything was located in the store.. I did not have to wander around aimlessly.. From the moment I encountered him until I left the store, Leonard never left until I was completely satisfied with my purchases.. I wish more employees were like this.. Thanks again Leonard, and Home Depot!!

Home depot is awsum! I have always been the person that wanted to waite in the car when pulling up at a Home Depot until recently. I working on this project ,that i know nothing about and these guys walked me right thru it and if that wasent good enugh i had a piece that wouldnt fit in my car. I did not know anyone with a truck, the guys loaded the the piece up and followed me home and delivered it to me. I lived very close but still I thought that they truly cared about their customers. Will never back. I asked three times and wait 50 minutes for someone help load my water heater. No one show up even i called 800 numbers. Another shopper provided me help. Because it is heavy and i dont want this old gentleman get hurt. When i went back to customer service desk asked it again, the lady was rude, she said i need to be patient and should not move and it is hard to find me, while my truck and the water heater were 20 yards away from the gate and her deskTotal waste time 1.5 hours finally someone from store came and helped me.

Just poor standards across the board; customer service, greeting the customer, out of stocks, associates sitting around congregating at desks ignoring customers, lack or management control. I had an employee actually tell me that her computer NOR her handheld scanner worked when i asked about a sku, all while talking it up with 2 other employess at the millwork desk. All the aprons look down and dont make eye contact, greet, or inquire if you are finding everythng you are looking for.

Its an ok Home Depot, no complaints really though it may be a little smaller than the one in West Plano. I really loved the native plants event that the City of Carrollton hosted. They had great information booths setup with really helpful information and free local resources provided by the city to residents. Plus this Home Depot seems to give out free hot dogs quite often when its warm out, Ive happened to come in on days when theyre hosting something a few times.

You guys took all the small hardware stores out of business and for what? To have the same selection as a small store!? Very limited selection! this location is not recommended for contractors or professional workers maybe for desperate house wives who need to hang a picture or under the counter light... The team is helpful and knowledgeable (its not hard with two types of paint or selection of 3 doors).
