I like this market. In search of some dinner fixins, I happened upon Tidal Creek Co-op while passing through Wilmington -- and dinner fixins were found! The store proved to be stocked with a pleasing variety of quality foods and beverages (all of which, from what I saw, were competitively priced). Organics, fresh veggies, specialties, pet foods, a full-service dining area and coffee bar -- the works! Once I made my selections (purple carrots, yum), I was checked out by a friendly young man, and I was on my way. One positive thing I noticed about the store: its decoration and layout were comfortable, in that subtle way thats hard to describe but no less appreciated by the senses; the same for the parking lot. It could be said that the store had "good mojo" or "positive energy," perhaps from proper Feng Shui (or so it was for me, at least). All in all, I had no problems at Tidal Creek Co-op, and will likely return. My thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service. Keep it up, friends!

Good place to stock up on Honest Tea for the price at least (ironically since everything else is a bit pricey but understandable). I really liked their chocolate glass bottled milk (not all chocolate milks are created equal). I could find things easily and the staff was pleasant. The only thing is the meat selection was very sparse as well as the cheeses. If I were shopping for a well rounded meal there would not be a lot to choose from. The prices are much higher than Whole Foods (because it is more specialized), but I do like the local aspect because not all organic is necessarily local (ie. Whole Foods). I did rate two other Whole Foods a 5 but still the totally local aspect gives this store a little something extra. It is an organic food boutique. Small, pricey, but with special items to take home and full of community which is nice to see.

Excellent local cooperative grocery. They have excellent groceries and natural bulk grains and goods, and they are happy to do orders for anything else you might want. They a hot bar with daily themed food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a salad bar. They have a great little deli / smoothie counter with a variety of delicious options, as well as some great vegan baked goods. They have an outdoor eating area, and (as of spring of 2017) they are having regular outdoor events every two weekends, as well as local beer and wine tastings. If you have suggestions for them, please make it - they have a board where they actually respond to the individual suggestions. They are a coop, so theres a yearly membership fee, and with that you get monthly coupons for discounts. Most of all, its a great community of people.

The food selection is great, though the prices can be a bit steep. Despite that I do like to shop here because the selection can not be beat. They also have hard to find items, but very good and I mean VERY GOOD Deals on flours, beans and unique flour substitute. I also love that is a Co-Op, a business model that is hard to do, but some amazingly resilient. I do look forward to a potential move, but fear them leaving the current location. If that should become the case i look forward to the new location downtown if near the Isabel Holmes Bridge. It would be much easier to get to and avoid a lot of traffic issues, place have excellent rent prices.

This review is about the cafe, and why I m unlikely to go there again. Started my day here a few times. Found food to be from mediocre (soupy grits) to not bad at all (sausage, eggs). The coffee is consistently horrid. But the deal breaker is that they turn on intrusive music, at excessive volumes (I wear hearing aids and it still bothered me). So for an over priced, mediocre meal, I got to have my morning repast turned into a jarring, disturbing "review provoking" experience. Abysmal experience. Heres a tip to the brewers: strong coffee can be adjusted; but weak coffee only lamented. Think on that.

Tidal Creek is my favorite go-to store at least weekly and sometimes daily- -(my yoga center is upstairs in the same building)! There is a perfect stock of the basics, as well as unusually good on-site pre-made and frozen selections for convenience , and current fresh produce; the juice and lunch/ dinner bar are unusually good- the kitchen is obviously well run by an excellent chef. Very friendly folks and remember to join, since as a member the discounts add up nicely . Smaller shops like this are my style for finding exactly what I want without a lot of noise and items I am not looking for.

I like the location and their fresh produce. Great place to grab lunch and it supports small business. If I could change one thing it would be that they had a slightly larger bulk dry food selection but I can live with what they have. I would definitely recommend this place and I have on several occasions.

I was visiting family and needed a few things from the store. Im so glad I found this cute natural market. The woman that asked me if I needed help helped me find the right herbs and medicine that would help my ailments. We ordered food from the deli and it was really tasty!

The smoothies are amazing and the staff that work the food section are amazing as well. I recommend the hulk or the nutty professor :) The prices are a little high, as we all know eating healthy usually costs more.

Great vegetarian, vegan options, but does have some meat available. Lower prices than WFM on organic produce. Cafe with hot and cold bars for lunch, dinner. Kombucha on tap.

Not bad but needs better selection of items and prices are way too $$$. Time to look for better suppliers or call it quits before the ship sinks.

My wife loves to purchase from the bulk spice/sugar/etc aisle. The prices are pretty good considering its a co-op.
