The Saigon Market is one of my favorite markets in Wilmington. I have shopped at this family owned Asian market for at least 6 years. I thought for the longest time that everyone knew about it. Not so. So I have shared in the wealth. I tell everyone who will listen. They carry a huge variety and prices cannot be beat , not even Walmart. I moved to Wilmington in 1992, from San Antonio,Texas, which in my opinion is one large melting pot. Lots of Military bases with lots of Military wives from around the world. Needless to say, I cook dishes from all sorts of ethnic origins. Primarily Asian and Latin Dishes. Lots of ingredients that you cannot easily find in the run of the mill grocery or if you do, you must attain a second mortgage on your home. Not so at the Saigon Market. And if you are not sure of what exactly is used in a specific recipe fear not, just ask. They are more than willing to help. Do yourself and your family and friends a favor stop in and shop at the Saigon Market and make a great new dish for your loved ones today and do it without fear! I love Saigon Market so much! I go here to save money on more "typical" international ingredients (e.g. soy sauce, coconut milk, tofu, spices, tahini, cilantro, etc.) as well as to find more obscure ingredients like Thai apple eggplants, Golden Mountain seasoning sauce, and other items you really cant find anywhere else in Wilmington. If you like tofu, be sure to try their fresh bulk tofu, only 89 cents for a ~2 lb bag! Oh, and the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Excellent selection of Asian ingredients at reasonable prices. If you typically buy rice, soy sauce, sriracha, wasabi, nori, coconut cream, curry paste, or any other staple of Asian-American cuisine at the grocery store, stop paying inflated prices for mediocre selection. Go to Saigon Market! Expand your culinary possibilities! Pay less, get more, eat better.

I can find Indian and Vietnamese specialty items that I cant find anywhere else in Wilmington. The staff is very nice and friendly. Love the Vietnamese coffee and Café Du Monde, New Orleans coffee in the orange can makes the best (cant get it anywhere else here). Love not having grocery store checkout lines.

Wonderful selection of Asian, Hispanic, Caribbean, and Middle Eastern groceries! Fresh fruit, like jackfruit and plantains, frozen meats like goat and cuttlefish are available. As far as I know, the only local source of balut is here. I love the selection, the service, and the prices!

Saigon Market has been a Wilmington staple for years. Ive always enjoyed my experiences getting authentic spices, foods, drinks and even household items like candles and Chinese New Year decorations from the wonderful, friendly staff!

Great place to get specialty items. Way cheaper than getting them from Harris teeter and then youre shopping local! The owners are awesome and very helpful. Plus their produce is always fresh.

The best place this side of Raleigh to get all things Asian. They offer a large variety of rice, spice, fresh and frozen goodies. So many gluten free options and the Kim Chee is the very best!

Recently, there was a cilantro shortage which led to a shortage of coriander. I use a lot of coriander in Mexican and Indian food and this Market always has it in bulk and at a great price. :-)
