Sunnyway is one of Greencastles three grocery stores. The store has recently been renovated, including a new storefront, several interior aesthetic modifications, and new refrigerators in the dairy section, but the store still feels fairly rundown and outdated. The selection is fairly limited when it comes to slightly obscure or specialty items, but has decent produce and an excellent bakery. Theres also a restaurant/dining area above the deli that Ive never visited but seems to be heavily recommended. I would recommend Giant, Martins, or even BJs Wholesale (all of which are a mere twenty-minute drive from this location) before Sunnyway, but this small grocery store will work for a quick visit.

My family has been going to Sunnyway for almost 25 years now. We buy a birthday cake from the bakery at least once every year. Nothing beats their "Sunnyway icing" with the glitter specks! The down-home country environment is family-friendly and extremely welcoming. They take pride in their store and it shows in everything from the clean, organized carts, to the fresh meats, and overall cleanliness. The employees are kind and helpful. We especially love the bakery women. The upstairs diner is amazing and well worth it. We love their homemade milkshakes and burgers.

This store has a great selection of foods, an excellent deli department and an outstanding bakery. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is that of an "old fashioned" type store where they seem to personally care about the quality of the product and the quality of the service. It beats its closest competitor - Food Lion , by a mile.

A friend recommended this market because they thought it had a ton of unique offerings. I would rate it at the level of a Martins or Giant. It is not on par with a Wegmans or other higher-end grocery stores. They have a fairly good selection and their prices are reasonable.

There are only 2 grocery stores in Greencastle and I would shop at Sunnyway over Shop n Save any day. Cheaper n better deals. People are very friendly and lots of home cooked food and fresh meats and seafood. Love Sunnyway!
