Yesterday Dec 24 2016 we went to Publix to buy a turkey. We had plans to stop by to purchase only a turkey and then go walmart to finish our shopping. We went to the meat department asking to this guy where was the turkeys. He quickly came out and took us to the turkey, asked us questions about size etc. He was very outgoing and friendly. He offered us a shop cart, since we didnt have one, we just went there to buy a turkey. He literally ran to get us a shopping cart, wished us a Merry Christmas and told us, any shop needs we had, he would be glad to help us to find it. well, this guy Allan made our afternoon, we not only got our turkey but our entire shop list. We left so happy that Publix is a great place to buy our groceries. The store is clean, organized, has sweet people like Allan. The prices are few cents higher, but hey, when you have a great service like that, price doesnt matter. Way to go Publix you got us. From now on you are our number 1 choice in Wilmington NC Thank you Allan from the Meat Department

i like their fried chicken and have driven the 8 miles in traffic three times to purchase. i go around 11:00 to beat the lunch crowd. First time no problems. 2nd time i was told there would be a 15 min wait. turned out to be 25 min. Today 3 other people were asking about the fried chicken so an employee asked the cook how long before it was ready. He said there was none in and he wasnt sure how long before he could put it in. I left my other food in my cart and left. Waiting for food longer at a grocery store than a restaurant seems backwards. As far as prices, you must shop sales like everywhere else if you have the time. Produce and seafood quality are excellent but again, shop sales.

I LOVED my experience here. They went above and beyond any grocery store here in town. Some things are a bit pricey but there were also some very good deals. Sometimes it is worth paying a few dollars extra for items if the shopping experience is worth it. I will be shopping for groceries here every time if it stays this way! I would have rated more stars if I could! In regards to the other reviews I have read.... All I have to say is, there are just some people you cant ever please! Awesome job, keep up the great work!

We came from Florida where we get subs every day for lunch or on the way home. This publix is the slowest we have experienced. There was 10 people in line when I walked up. It took the lady 15 minutes to make a wrap. The 9 people ahead of me left so I was next by that time. It took her 15 minutes to make mine as well and another 15 for my ladys veggie sub. She didnt know how to roll the paper causing everything to fall out and look mangled. The other guy left to cut meat. Didnt see him again in the 30 minutes. Sad

This stores Service is absolutely amazing! I have never been treated so well in a Public place. Their associates went above and beyond to help me find products I couldnt find due to my first shopping at Publix. Believe me I will be returning because prices are not bad and even if they are the Service is just impeccable and the Stores cleanliness is worth every minute and a little bit further to drive but the experience and quality is worth it! Love Publix!

My thanks to the bakery department. ......our Wedding cake was Awesome. EVERY ONE ENJOYED THE BEAUTIFUL CAKE. Our whole wedding party and the photographer. ....the restaurant all said they were going to start shopping there. The Wedding cake was just like a picture in the book. ....seashells look real. Overall their service is a huge winner for me, they cut up a butternut squash for me to order because I dont like doing it at home, took everything out to the car even though I dont need the extra help. Even learned some cool grocery tech that theyre using to keep lines short and efficient. Only reason they dont get 5 stars is some prices seem higher than other places.

I was happy to find Publix in Wilmington. Their produce are fantastic and is quite consumer centered. Their friendly workers were polite , well groomed giving this place a pleasant environment to shop. I am familiar with Publix since 1980. To my great amazement, I found a great selection of frozen Hispanic ( Cuban ) products! Kudos for their expansion to the Carolinas

Huge selection with all fresh produce and meats. Excellent Customer service, like none I have ever seen before. Hesham is the most polite and helpful employee I have met here, goes above and beyond customer service to provide me with the most acceptional experience every time. The entire staff at this publix helps make grocery shopping something I look forward to.

This is my I cant even count time that Ive been here at Publix pine valley! They are amazing! I have never been in a grocer that treats there customers like they treat me. Mr. George who founded this company would be very proud of the way these managers and associates are running this particular location! Thank you Publix for being so awesome!

Everyone seems to think there prices are too high. Personally they are in line with the Teeter. If comparing to the Lion or other less quality chains then yes they are higher. Everything Ive had from Publix so far, thats not a "national" brand has been great! There fruit by far is much fresher and their hot bar is awesome as well.

Blown away by the customer service. Every single person said hello and asked me how I was. The bakery gave my daughter and I cookies, the deli gave us a sample of our lunch meat. We are gluten, dairy and soy free and they had LOTS of food options. Very impressed by this store and its associates!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I had to use a rider shopping cart and a member of the staff walked out to the car with me, unloaded the cart and returned the cart to the store. They all make you fill welcome. Great experience every time we shop there.

Growing up in FL Publix was our go to store. The things that really count are so much better than other chain stores. Bakery, deli, meat and produce departments, along with the dairy section are all head and shoulders above the rest, and they take pride in that.

Im from Florida and I know publix. This publix may be new but I have never had a worse experience in any of their stores. The staff in the deli have no clue whats going on and it takes them 20 minutes to make a sub when Im the only one in line
