The people, first, the selection of items, the customer service... Didnt like something, you dont pay. Couldnt find something, theyll help you and even GIVE you a substitute to keep you happy. Did they make a mistake at the checkout (or anywhere), free! Breakfast hot bar....the best, we were in Charleston recently and while the store was bigger and offers things Wilmington doesnt....we didnt eat our much anticipated first meal of the day there, because it was no where near the breakfast offered consistently in Wilmington (and lunch/dinner). Their care for the planet whether its people, plants or animals..... So many reasons we love these guys. They are better than family! Thank you Whole Foods Wilmington. As for the prices... You get what you pay for, and what you think you deserve... I deserve every bit of Whole Foods, I am soooo worth it. How do you treat yourself?

This grocery store has so many things that you cant find at regular grocery stores. Lots of organic product and healthy foods. They also have hand made soaps as well as other hand made items. Their food bar is fantastic! So many choices that are sure to satisfy even the most picky eaters. And their bakery....omg its awesome. The macaroons are to die for and their gelato station is so delectable. Its very hard to pick just one of their mouth watering desserts and cookies and pastries. I highly recommend this store. Yes, its a little more pricey than your average grocery store but its so worth it. You really get what you pay for. I could spend hours just going up and down the aisles looking at all the great stuff. I find something new every time i go in.

Excellent! The prices are not always higher on the same items, either, as some people say. Sometimes higher quality food, though, does cost a bit more in the short term (versus long-term economic, environmental, and health issues particularly of pesticide-grown or GMO-based foods) than what has become the norm in this country and increasingly elsewhere, too. Even when so, good food is worth it. WF is not always perfect, but they are trying to do good things and are making an impact. Wilmington is a much better place with them here than without. Theyve increased competition and driven improvement at nearby competitors, too. Lastly, the people there are very friendly, happy, and enjoyable!

A welcome addition to the Wilmington area. Yes, this Whole Foods location is not as large as those in other areas, but my wife and I are grateful that one has come to the area. We enjoy there hot bar and salad bar for dinner about once a week, in conjunction with a shopping trip. the offerings are always delicious and they change them over time to ensure variety. The store is what you have come to expect from a Whole Foods, on a somewhat smaller scale. They have excellent organic produce, seafood, and meats. They provide a good contrast to, and companion to, the Trader Joes that has also opened in Wilmington.

We love this location and eat at the hot bar 1-3 times per week just about every week. If you time it just right you can have hot food and a place to sit. They make the most amazing mac n cheese! The staff is fairly nice too. This place has some of the most delicious fresh fruit that you can buy- just wish it wasnt so high priced. But I do love that kids get a piece of fresh fruit free at each visit. My little girl looks forward to this. I like this location a lot and Ive been to several WF stores that I didnt like nearly as much!

Whole Foods is a good place to shop for vegetables, hard to find and unique items. If you want cruelty free meats the shopping process here is simple BC all of their meets are cruelty free, vegetarian fed meats. Thy have a juice bar, hot bar andprepared foods section. Their bakery items are always delicious. You can also have items prepared for you such As sandwiches and wraps. They have a variety if soups as well. As with any company if you want quality be prepared to pay the price.

Best Whole Food in North Carolina that I have been to. I lived in Raleigh and I like the new Whole Foods at the Colonnade, but when I moved here I was way more tempted to visit Whole Foods on a regular basis even though they have higher prices. They ran pretty good specials on the Honest products and have the best hot bar out of all of the ones that I have been to, not to mention the community and service is very good. It has always been a positive experience when I went there.

I had a last minute idea for chocolate covered strawberries for my mothers birthday. I called several stores before remembering Whole Foods. I called and spoke with a sweet young lady in the bakery and she said that they would be glad to do a special order for me. They usually require 24 hours notice but she also said that she would make an exception because it was for my mothers birthday. Thank you Whole Foods!!

This is the place to shop for groceries if you want to be recognized for your conspicuous consumption. I occasionally shop at this location since its opened. Its like every other whole foods youve been too. The hot bar can be especially inconsistent here. The produce is on the average side as well. I like thats its convenient to midtown, but its location next to the mall creates traffic flow problems.

Saw a beer I would liked to have purchased and they did not have it anymore. I asked someone if they had it and they said that they havent had it since March, its the end of June, and that i would not find that beer anywhere. The employee was rude about it and did not care that taphunter was out of date. Update your beer list so this does not happen to others! Will never shop here again.

I used to buy pizza here all the time but now, it has an open faced display. Anyone can touch the pizza and I have seen customers grab two pieces to separate them and then leave one piece. Children can touch them and I dont think we can expect the staff to babysit it all the time. Its the same reason I dont eat a cc pizza. You have lost my pizza business whole foods

Dove in for a gallon of milk on the way home from work. None of the employees on the floor acknowledged me. Waited for a cashier to finish idly conversing with another customer before scanning my order. Asked how I was doing but was otherwise oddly silent, stared blankly behind me as I said good night and left. Not a great first impression.

I shop here only because I need fresh fish often. Used to shop at the Richmond Va store and loved it. This ones hot bars are lousy in my opinion. the produce is overpriced and often overdue for disposal. I really miss the Richmond store. We need a Wegmans here badly.

Hot bar is usually stocked with some good vegan options. My kids love picking out their own food from the hot bar and all ingredients are listed. Smoothies are sub par I would steer clear of those but bottled Yerba mate and coconut waters are available in abundance :)

Whole Foods is... well... Whole Foods. You walk into the store knowing you will pay more than a normal grocery store. The difference is that you get higher quality produce and more selection of organic and rarer items. This store was clean and the staff were great!
