I just went there recently and bought a soymilk product that I didnt want. The reason why I ended up with this product was there was this lady that kept on insisting me to buy the soymilk product that I never had before, and I told her politely I just wanted the vitasoy product I always drink. She did not want to get the product for me and insisted me to buy this other soy product. I was very unhappy when I found out the expiration date was 4 dates ahead when I bought the product. I did not want to return it, but I will say I rather go to West Lake foods and get grocery there. I mean I feel bad for them they havent had so much booming business, and its worth a trip because most of there products are cheap and fresh!

Great catch-all Asian food market (sans-India & Russia), definitely geared more towards Chinese goods, but they carry many SE Asian, some Japanese foods and the Korean staples. I shop here with the confidence that they provide quality products at a vast selection. Fresh bakery, fresh cooked food, fresh meat market, fresh fish market, great frozen section, fresh veggies, huge non-perishables - they provide a lot to the community. The Asian continents culinary world is well represented here & at very competitive prices.

Dont buy the cakes from there. I got a birthday from there. It looked so pretty and fresh. Well looks were deceiving because it tastes terrible. It was suppose to be a light sponge cake with fruit. I dont like normal American cakes because they are too sweet. The whipped frosting was waxy and bitter. The cake had no flavor and dense. Nothing like cakes from other asian bakeries. I had to throw away the rest of the cake because no one wanted to eat it.

Decent Asian grocery store in an area with few such resources. They have dry and frozen goods, roasted meats, an in-store bakery with a few sweets and buns, and fresh meat and fish and produce, much of the later unfortunately prewrapped in plastic so you cant pick. Keep your eyes peeled as their sign can be easy to miss from the road. Some familiarity with Chinese culture may come in handy although most labels do include English.

Great place that had the ingredient I needed (tamarind paste), after checking two other grocery stores in the area. When I got there I was very pleasantly surprised - they have very authentic style bbq duck, green onion pancakes, dessert buns, egg tarts, and more. Sizable selection of Asian goods, run by mostly Chinese speakers. I felt at home. Ill definitely be back, if not for groceries, definitely for those egg tarts, yummy...

If you want to feel what its like to walk into a grocery store in the middle of an Asian country, this is it. They have cooked poultry hanging inn the vestibule, everything is in another language, its pretty surreal. Great food if you can identify it by the picture on the label! I enjoy the experience, dont expect smiles from the staff though.

Today I fount out this store selling live frogs. I was sickly upset because those live frogs are sick having the pink-color skin around their eyes and they are infectious. I pray somebody needs to stop this store selling those live frog because of animal abuse and negligence. God helps us, vegans and vegetarians.

Still, I look for the boxes of instant Chinese noodles, then I need assistance. Now, I reside in Rochester View Apts.; 4365 West Henrietta, Road; Henrietta,N.Y. 14467. I am curious in exploration, too. Ill contact you later. Christa DAuria

One of the better Asian groceries in town. They are particularly good with meats and produce. However produce tends to be seasonal, with popular items selling out fast. Even for packaged goods, inventory can change occasionally.

This place is amazing! Its huge first of all and has everything from food (treats, ramen, bakery, deli) to teas and herbs to a whole frozen/fresh food section. Love going here to stock up on tasty treats and spices.

Not the best chinese grocery store, but certainly meets the need in rochester. Has most standard items, a bakery section as well as a bbq/roasting section for pork and poultry. Satisfied with the selection.

One of the best places in Rochester to find Asian foods, and I mean the really hard to find things. I only wish that theyd stop carrying invasive fish species in their seafood dept. As tasty as they may be.

Excellent selection of cooked food, baked goods and cooking supplies. Roast duck on rice is fantastic. Would like to see Korean style roasted seaweed, but otherwise carries any food item I could want.

Massive selection of food. Lots of fresh fish and everything you can think of as far as ingredients go. Staff at times can be difficult to find, but otherwise the layout of the store is pretty clear

Not the cleanest market, but they have an amazing selection and stock of everything you need to make your favorite authentic Asian dish. If you cant find it at Wegmans, give this place a try.

It is becoming more and more expensive. Because of the near monopoly, they do not take customers feeling into consideration. Be careful for the expiration dates and the quality of the meat.

A fantastic selection of items if you want authentic Asian food. If thats too scary for you, they also have an amazing selection of Japanese snacks which can be a fantastic treat.
