I wanted beef ribs but never got them, I stubbed my toe and because I take blood thinners I was bleeding all over the place. I went to a register and asked for a paper towel and some one gave me a bandaid but it is hard to put one on when trying to do so while standing on one foot, holding the towel and attemp to get the bandaid on. I hobbled back to the restroom and got a few towels to put under my foot and around my foot and wedge the end under the strap of my flip flop. I got a bottle of liquid skin on the way back to the register, paid for the things in the cart and spent at least 20 minutes in the parking lot trying to patch me up and avoid a trip to the E.R. To beat it all they threw my can of chilli in the bag with my potato chips, I suppose they were in a hurry to get me out of there.

It is a pretty decent Food Lion very clean and very modern up-to-date no I havent shopped there a lot to really give it a grade out of all the local grocery stores it is local enough that its not a multinational chain but local not that you know where the food comes from.

Love it! Get the ends & pieces bacon, youll never buy anything else again! Im not sure why they put it way down by the hams & ect instead of with the other bacon, but as long as you can find it, GET IT! Store is always clean & well stocked, friendly, helpful staff.

They have a wide variety of groceries. I find their produce prices are lower than other places in Sylva, but the organic selection is limited. Also, they dont offer as much free range meats as other places.

Food Lion is easily accessible and has good prices. They are getting more foods for those with food allergies and those who need gluten free items.
