I have been doing business with this store since it first opened. The store has always been clean and the owners are so sweet and know what they are selling. Being on a road I didnt travel much caused me to go to Asheville many a time. It would slip my mind that they were there. Since moving the business to a place on the main road in Sylva I go there all of the time now. Chris runs the store now and he is someone that will go out of his way to help you get what you are looking for. He will not hesitate to special order whatever it is you are needing. The store sells more pets than they do supplies and I have yet to walk into that store and see or smell less than pristine cages. Chris sells high quality animals and he really cares about what he is selling. I do my best to give Chris all of my business for my fish and bird needs. 5 Stars ***** to a well deserved petshop. This pet store is very disappointing. Even at their new location the quality of enclosures, specifically for the reptiles, has not improved. It is very obvious that many of the lizards being sold are not from professional breeders. It is also apparent that no attention is given to the specific needs of each animal during their stay at this store. Today I saw two dead lizards in their tanks which can only be the result of inadequate conditions. This store offers a really nice selection and variety of animals but I am just disappointed at the conditions they live in and would not want to put money into an animal that would need special help to gain back its health.

Best pet store around, always kind, friendly and very professional! Fish&More take pride in delivering happiness to everyone that purchases animals from them which is exactly what our community needs!! I own a small kennel "T.B.K" we mainly raise blue heelers and this establishment is always eager to help find families interested in purchasing top notch dogs and full blooded breeds. Not to mention they have a large variety of treats, toys and accessories for animals of all kinds. Highly recommended for anyone looking to adopt a furever fur-baby. Thank you Fish & More!!

DO NOT BUY PUPPIES FROM THEM! We bought two puppies from them and they were obviously puppy mill, and they were really expensive. the chihuahua we bought died in a few months from a genetic disorder. They do have a pretty good range of pets, and the staff is pretty nice. Their animal supplies are a tad on the expensive side. I would buy animals from them, but only after careful consideration of the health of the animal.

I cant say enough about how much I like this store. The owners are super friendly and helpful, putting up with my endless questions about fishkeeping as I got back into the hobby. Prices are reasonable and they are always willing to special order fish and plants. Their new, larger location offers a greater selection of items and has a really nice fish room.

Under new owners. This store is clean, smells nice, have a wonderful range of healthy animals to choose from. Their puppies DO NOT come from puppy mills, and I know the breeder who sells them their Chihuahuas. I have one myself. Hes very healthy. They have an excellent staff who is very knowledgeable. Id highly recommend this store.

Great selection for our small town. Have purchased many animals (including fish, turtles, a centipede and a puppy) from them over the last few years and have never had an issue. The owners are friendly and understandable of possible issues with the animals. Great place to visit or purchase from!

I buy fish both sw and fw from here all are still living!!! As well as crickets for my lizards. The guy there is always helpful unlike lots of people in the pet trade who just want to baffle you with their bullshit. It sure beats the hell out of driving to Asheville for crickets every other day.

Very unprofessional. Dirty.......kids running around with no supervision and the owner is a complete nit wit who shouldnt own this business. I dont know her personally but I have to go there to get food for my ball python and it is always a pain.
