They laughed at me. I went to the Capital Blvd location about a half an hour ago (7 June 2011 2:15pm). I brought with me 2 items. One item was a Blackhawk drop leg holster for an M9 pistol that retails new for around $100. The other item was a Halliburton Zero briefcase that retails for over $300. Some sites are selling it for as much as $375. I am going through a divorce and was embarassed and uncomfortable about having to take my property to a pawn shop in the first place. I never in a million years pictured myself in a pawnshop selling my stuff to feed myself. When I showed the lady behind the desk my items she began chuckling which attracted the attention of two other employees who also began laughing at my items. Now I fully understood that the items I brought in they may not be interested in purchasing. I was ready for that. I also was ready to accept literally ANY amount of money they offered me. If they said they would give me $10 for both items together I would have been happy and been off to the grocery store. Instead they did not even examine my items or ask any questions. Just laughed and said that they wouldnt be able to take any of it. I am not upset that they did not want to purchase my items. They are in the business of buying items to resell them at a higher price for profit. I get it. My items were not something they felt they could profit from. But did they need to laugh at me? I felt crappy enough about being so broke I would have to try selling my stuff. Then to be laughed at pushed me over the edge. I hate to say it but I literally cried on my way home to write this. Ive been through so much in the past 6 months that the last thing I needed was to be laughed at when Im just trying to feed myself. Highly unprofessional and quite honestly just plain old mean to do that to someone. I wish all of them to understand that they really hurt my feelings by laughing at me. Just one more kick in the junk I didnt need.

I went to this place last week and it was obvious that my business was neither wanted nor appreciate. I was only interested in jewelry and went directly toward the glass case, all the while no worker bothered to welcome me to the store. In fact, my presence was grossly ignored. There was a girl working behind the jewelry counter and assisting a man and woman who looked like two meth addicted, homeless people. She devoted all of her time to these two wearing dirty close and looking at rings that they could not afford. Meanwhile, I walked in wearing over $15,000 worth of David Yurman, carrying a $1500 handbag and was completed disregarded. My visited last five minutes after which time, I walked out of the door and got into my $40,000 BMW and watched the drug addicts dart across the busy street to a convenience store. They left the store without buying anything...typical. I will never go back. I live in North Raleigh and currently drive to the Picasso Pawn in Durham and will continue to do so. I get good service, treated with respect and usually find what I am looking for.

So I got a tv And i wanted to return it, i kid you not, 10 minutes later because the remote was horrible. The remote seemed like it was chewed on by a dog. they didnt want to accept the return so instead they decided to call the police on me. they should be training theyre employees to give a better costumer service and more about to tell costumers about theyre policies and at least they should have a return policy and not be charging people for warranties knowing that most of the people dont pay for that s*** .. who the hell has to pay for warranty? What place ask you to pay for warranty? I understand an extended warranty. But a regular warranty? Are you serious? Worst pawn shop you can possibly go to. Highly not recommended. Want a better experience? Go to international pawn shop on capital. They actually know how to do business. Warranty, returns, you name it. An actual business.

They act like everything you bring in there is worthless. They told me my PSP was only worth $30 because I didnt have the box it came with. When I saw a PSP in their case marked at $109.99 I asked if it came with a box and all the accerories and they said no. WTF? Dont bother with these scam artists. They thrive off people needing a quick buck and will tell you your merchandise is next to worthless. It wouldnt be so bad if they just said the truth upfront. Like "Hey sir this PSP is worth $80 but because of overhead, rend, labor etc., we can only pay you $30." Hell I might have gone for it then. Also their employess are exteremely rude and think they know it all.

Was offered $80 for an ipad air 2. I wasnt sure if the guy was practicing his comedy routine or being serious at first. A manager stepped in and said $80 was being generous then I knew he was serious and they were being greasy. Took it to national pawn and got $200. I have also since been harassed to take down another bad review I wrote about them by another manager. Real greasy shade tree operation.

They try to rob you. They offered me 25 dollars for a brand new studio microphone with mic stand. I took it too National pawn and got 90 dollars do not go here unless you want to give your things away for free. They dont try to work with you at all just lowball you and take it if you let them. I wish THE WEREZero stars to click on. I would NATIONAL PAWN RIGHT DOWN THE STREET NOT EVEN A MILE GO THERE.

I have never purchased from a pawn shop so after alot of research I chose Picasso. I worked with Jackie and Patrick. They were friendly and gave amazing customer service. They were knowledge about the products they carry and clearly explained the process of ensuring quality products. I highly recommend this business not only for what Ive mentioned but also for the prices! Thanks guys

When AT&T stopped selling refurbished phones for a penny I knew I was going to be in trouble. Then I broke my Samsung. Thank goodness for Picasso Pawn. I found an affordable phone that I was able to use immediately. Kudos to the friendly and knowledgeable staff for making my purchase stress free.

The manager Patrick was very reasonable and willing to work with me in my financial need... and Top Sales Rep. Jackie has always offered me more money for my merchandise than any other pawn shop in Raleigh... these guys are the BEST!!!

I stopped by this store today and even though I ended up not buying anything, I noticed that it was very clean and organized and Nikaye was very helpful to me. You dont ever see pawn shops this neat with associates that nice.

Brought my mower in to pawn it and it was in new condition and very clean got it back filthy where they had stored it outside in the rain if id of known I would have not pawned it there.Take your stuff else where!!!!!!!!!!
