Normally this food lion is a lovely place. The last few times I have been the lady that works at the deli counter has ruined my shopping experience. She is consistently rude and acts like she would rather be doing anything than cutting meat. She often raises her voice at me and my children. I asked for provolone cheese and she cut cheddar! Every time I go I talk to the manager of the store, yet she still works there, cussing under her breath and not cutting the deli products correctly. Go to any deli but this one.

I live in Shawboro and always went to Food Lion in Elizabeth City. I visited and shopped at all 3 and have just not found these stores to be to my satisfaction. Thats when I decided to visit the store in Moyock. I was impressed. This store is very clean. Shelves are clean and stocked with good varieties. Produce area is a joy. But what really got me was the bathroom. It was so clean!!!! I was truly amazed! Good management and team players at this store! Please keep up the good work. I will definitely be back!

Cant say anything negative about this store. Its very conveniently located and away from a cluster of other shops nearby. It doesnt hurt that they were having a sale on beer and I ended walking outta there with 5 24-packs. Check em out!

Friendly staff and a surprisingly good selection, especially craft beer I havent been able to find elsewhere in the area. Usually busy in the evenings, but not overly so. Great place to stock up if youre passing through!
