This is the Ace I prefer to shop at, and I live in the Greer (Greenville) SC area. This is by far, the NICEST Ace Ive ever shopped in. What brings me here most is their garden area. Their garden guru Justin chooses the greatest plants for this store and they seem to have plants I cannot find elsewhere. Sure, they may be a bit higher priced than other places for plants you can find at the big box stores, but you wont find the quality along with the care taken for the plants at this Ace. And, you can usually find a discount coupon somewhere to get an extra savings. Cant find a plant you are looking for, ask Justin in the garden department if he can order it for you. Ive bought numerous plants for this Ace and have had success with all buy 1 of them, a huge Mum, but all in all, very happy with my purchases and will continue to purchase what plants I can here. They also have unusual items at this Ace. I purchased a pair of Veggies gardening clogs here. I havent found them ANYWHERE else. I look forward to going in to this store. The only thing I wish they would do is post their own local ad somewhere where people who dont get the local paper can see it. Many times I find they had things on sale I would have purchased, had I known, like their top soil. If they can post their own store ad (not Aces nationwide ad) this would be great. Even an email for those who want to receive it would be wonderful. As for customer service, I would not say they are rude, Ive been asked if I needed help many occasions. I wouldnt say they were all overly friendly, but no one has ever been rude to me at all, and once again, being Ive dealt with Justin in the garden department, he has always been extrememly polite, helpful and friendly.

Ace Hardware is a small store packed with hardware items. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. There is always someone nearby to help with locating items or making suggestions without being intrusive.
