While sitting with a couple of friends and my brother who had ordered two glasses of wine (we had been there half an hour) I was just kicked out of Rioja by the manager, Jake, because I hadnt bought anything. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire restaurant-going life. Rioja is a nice place but their manager is doing the business a terrible disservice by treating people this way. I wont ever be back. I wish I could give this experience a negative star rating -- one is more than it deserved.

I recently moved to Greensboro and saw this wine bar in passing. I just had the pleasure of coming to this wine bar- the staff is attentive. The atmophere chill, and delicious tapas and good wine suggestions. I Highly recommend since I am not highly educated on wines, but this place is for the novice or the wine expert.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience with a group of friends. Jake was very attentive and able to pick the perfect wine choice when given a description. Our table was reserved as requested and the atmosphere was delightful. Will definitely return!

Very cool selection of wines and the staff was awesome and knowledgeable about their product. The band was a little loud but after they were done, we could hear ourselves think again and had a great time with friends.

Great little wine bar with some delicious snacks and small plates. They offer a wide variety of wines with 1 oz and 3oz pours and flights, in addition to full glasses and bottles. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This place is the best. Jake is the guy that makes this place what it is. The wines change quite often, but thats OK because it makes you try wines you wouldnt know about. If you love wine, this is the place.

Nice little place with a good selection of wines from all over the world. They do $5 wine tastings frequently but you have to reach early to take advantage of this. Good ambience and nice people.

Peaceful and relaxing. The gentleman there is ultra knowledgeable and has a wonderful manner about him. Makes you feel like you are worlds away when youre inside.
