They have a good selection of items, especially for Elizabeth City. If they do not have something in stock, they will say they can order it for you, but my experience is that you have to pester them for items you really want. Not worth the hassle. In addition, on the morning of December 17, 2011, I purchased bulk items from this business in Elizabeth City. Before I left the store, I noticed that the clerk had overcharged me on 3 of the 11 or so items I had purchased. I waited in line to show her the mistake. She said the prices were in the computer system and she was unable to change them. When I suggested she change the prices on the bins she responded, "when I have time." I returned my purchase and will not shop there again. If you shop there, watch your prices carefully. I dont see how it can advertise online that it is an honest business when it treated a (previously) regular customer like that.

Soho is an organic market, and the store you go to if you want healthy food to cook at home in this area. They carry a wide variety of beer and wine and some fresh vegetables. Soho has a large variety of pantry items. If they dont have what you want in the store, and if they can possibly get it for you, they will. They carry different types of meats that are very good but not quite as good as the service. The people that work in the store are very friendly and they feel like family. I would highly rate Soho.

Over That Way

I go to SoHo for the bulk items that are cheeper than anywhere else nearby and you can use your own container, less trash! Their local meats taste much better than mass produced brands (Hank Hill told ya so). If you like good beer, this selection is the most diverse anywhere around E City.
